Yeah. If there was a chance to change the ending slightly, it would probably go like this: Mike, after stopping the cupcake from hurting him any further, goes to look for Abby but runs into William Afton, but without the Springtrap suit. The two would fight for a bit, but Afton would beat Mike easily, with experience of being a serial killer. Vanessa tries to stop Afton from killing both Mike and Abby but gets stabbed in the process. Abby draws the picture and shows the animatronics what happened to them, making them turn on Afton. After realizing they're now coming after him, he grabs a fire axe and chops all four to pieces, thinking he beat them. Moments before he attempts to kill Mike and Abby, he sees the children popping up around him, scaring him. He's backed into a back corner of a room and finds his Springtrap suit to put on. After putting on the whole suit, he taunts the children similar to how he does in the movie about how small they were compared to him. But then, the spring locks in his suit set off, stabbing him everywhere, crushing him. He screams out in pain as he realizes his mistake and tries desperately to get it off, but to no success. During all of this, Mike shields Abby's eyes away from the whole thing while Mike sees it all happen. The ghost kids slowly disappear into thin air while Afton bleeds out and his screams die down. Mike quickly grabs Vaness and the three escape the pizzeria as the building conveniently comes crashing down. After the three leave, Afton is sitting down against a wall in severe amounts of pain, but as he looks to his side, sees the ghost of a fifth animatronic, the Golden Freddy, with a bright but withered look and the purest of black, empty eyes. Afton, still barely alive, tries to call out for help again, but is so weak and in so much pain from the suit he could barely use his voice. As he takes his final breath, he slumps over to his side and falls to the floor dead. Golden Freddy disappears, leaving behind Afton's body to rot. In a post credit scene, scavengers explore the pizzeria decades later in hopes to find something cool and salvageable for their new attraction called Fazbear Fright's (FNAF 3). After tearing down doors into rooms, they come across Springtrap's body on the floor, all the blood dried up and nowhere noticeable. One of the guys that found him says, "Dude, we actually found one! A real one!" The second guy replies ,"This could be good for our attraction. Let's take it." As the two leave to grab some equipment to haul Springtrap out, one of Springtrap's fingers twitch, hinting Afton is back and just barely alive.

For those that dont know why he wiped his hand across the blade: That is a reference to his role as Stu Macher, as Ghostface for Scream. I never saw live action Scooby but I had watched Scream, and seeing the original casting I immediately suspected that Matt Lilliard was Afton. His performance was gold for me.

@@TheArtOfENC0REreally there’s a ton of stuff that dosnt quite match the games story, I think what these movies are is basically a different universe then the games, where they take all the lore,characters, and stories and make something unique yet still heavily inspired by the orignal. So we get things like him saying I always come back too early, or Mike not being aftons son, but Vanessa is his daughter. And honestly I think this is the best way to go, because the lore and story is way too confusing and not concrete, and it also adds a bit of surprise to viewers who know everything.
