I have always been against living with a guy before marriage even from a secular stand point the research shows it doesn't help you stay married longer or anything like that. We women just lose out too much. I had one ex debate with me asking why I'm against living together & his dad was telling him why are we both paying rent at two different places. So it was money motivated in my opinion & this ex had lived with a woman previously before they got married. He was not financially wise so I know we would have had to split bills & I'm just so glad I did not give in.

My husband and I did not shack up before marriage, and I never shacked up with any man. In my city, however, preacher’s daughters are having babies and shacking with men for years. They then get married when the children are starting elementary school.

This is a word as I dated a man almost 5 years then at the end he said marriage wasn't important to him-then a year after we broke up he got married to a other woman and bought her a quarter of a million dollar house-Lord have mercy

18yrs ago, I reconnected with my now husband, we attended college together but were only friends back then. Anyway, we reconnected but lived in different cities. He moved me to his city less than a year later and we did live together for 2yrs he paid all the bills then and still does. 2yrs was my cutoff for if this isn't headed down the aisle I'd relocate back to the original city I came from. He did propose, and we've been married now for 16yrs and we have 2 sons together. Back then my faith wasn't as it is now, so my choices might have been much different or not, I can't say. What I can say is I love my husband, we have a fantastic family, not say it's perfect, but I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else. In the future when our boys are in a relationship I will not recommend living together though. Hopefully they will listen.

I don,t believe in tithe and offering you give what u can and definitely not 10% .Some pastors live lavishly off people,s hard earned money . Today some people get rich and never sow a seed .
