The Bible says marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled .There's no honor in shacking, and that bed is defiled. It was heart wrenching to hear you read off the cases of women who have been waiting for years. Why do some women think that having children by these non committing men will make them commit? It doesn't, and so many times they go on to the next woman. Shacking has no benefits for the woman and in God's eyes it's sin. You are literally being used like a wife without the wifely honor or benefits. This was a good lesson Janice!!!

For every one couple that try to set the right example there are 100 that shows the wrong. I lived with my now husband for months before we got married and I would never do that or teach others to do the same . Stop doing marriage things and not being married 😬💗

The experience was not negative however after we got married we experience a lot of first together which was special so moving in together as a married couple would have been even more special also it would have cut down on the time we actually got married it would have been sooner than a year. We would have probably not have argued as much about the status of our relationship as often.

The thing is she said that she doesnt believe in shaking up. I really thought he had proposed to Simone. Simone discarded her standards and values for a man who might not even marry her. Also the way he interacts with Simone, he knows Simone isn't the one. I watch their podcast and the love, attraction, and interest is one-sided. Simone is definitely more into him than he is into her and he knows that.

PREACH auntie! Have to admit that I'm disappointed in their decision and feel like they squandered an opportunity to elevate their platform. Perhaps they should have kept this "announcement" to themselves and none of us would've known nor cared, but since they didn't.... It is disheartening when women go against their standards and God's promises by devaluing themselves in hopes of a ring and ultimate weddding. I had him pegged differently based on his somewhat insightful commentary during their RTL recaps. Momma always said be aware of wolf in sheep's clothing. I bought the devil's ticket 10 years ago and got a "shut up" ring 5 years later and nothing else followed but shifty conversations, shattered self-confidence, and a whole lot of stress. But thanks be unto God I was delivered from that situation and have moved on! God save us all and help us to keep our hearts and minds stayed on you, and that YOU be glorified in all we do!

Speak it! I'm trying to tell this to a close acquaintance. She's shacking up with a no good man, who comes and goes whenever. I keep telling her she's blocking her blessing and the man who was destined and designed for her will never find her. I can't believe how long women wait around for me, some even giving away their prime years. Sigh.

I shacked up ☝️ time and went through Hell in 6 mos. God said, that's not your husband, so why??🤨🤔🙄...I repented and said Neva again. That was in my early dumb age 20yrs old. That man tore down everything I was building up except my Self Esteem and my 3.5 college grade pt average. The apartment and my car Yup.😯😢. So I'm glad I learned early on. I have stayed alone every since. I'm in soooo much Peace not LETTING not 1 dusty come through my doors.🤔😒. Getting rid of that apartment, him, and his family was Gold for my welfare. 😒🙄. That was in 2001, now it's 2022, I'm 43. Tell me I haven't learned after 1 time only.🤪

Mr sister shacked up technically, but he proposed to her a few months ago and now they are engaged and planning the wedding. If a man truly wants you, he will marry you regardless. But I agree, I rather not shack up

I thought they were announcing an engagement too. To be honest I think Rashid is not that into her. I think he wants to test things out first. I notice the women always want to get engaged and then married so maybe she agreed to living together thinking it'll get her closer to what she wants. I hope she gets what she desires in the end!

I love how you focus the discussion on "offering." I looked it up and the definition reads "gift or contribution, a thing produced or manufactured for entertainment or sale." Then of course, offering is specific to the church as well. But we have been essentially selling our services when we shack up. We never get the best return on what we think is an investment into the relationship. When we shack, we always lose! Great video.

When he told her that he would take her with him to his homecoming weekend ONLY once, and she had to beg for that, 😳I said then he doesn’t want her! He may prove me wrong but I doubt it. Although you speak the truth, the fact is that shacking up has become the norm in our society. Some will end up marrying & some will not. Some will last & some will not. The same for those who hold out for marriage 1st. Some last, some don't. However, this is not something to make a major announcement about. 😒

Special circumstance. I think William always knew too. However he had to make sure she could handle the pressure and stress that is being a part of the monarchy. That mess is unforgiving! Look at how much she's aged in the time they've been married. And, this is the reason Harry said no more.
