This is the solo piano version of the Symphonic Variations of Kaikhosru Sorabji. This video consists of Volume 1 of 3, the theme and variations 1-27 (of 81). The performance has been created by Alberto Vignani using Dorico notation software, Modartt Pianoteq and Samplicity Berlin Studio reverb.

I don't know what you think of it but I can certainly say that you are making history, your works on Sorabji are groundbreaking and giving its actual answer for the ridiculous question most of the "normie music" lovers (sorry for stereotyping) putforth "how 'a sorabji' can be beautiful and transcendental (it is), when its messy at the same time??" This particular work, whether was it you or your affiliations, was one of my cravings for a recording or atleast a virtual performance, because if I'm not wrong, this is only theme and variations (as a solo work, not including when it is part of a work), that uses an original theme, sorabji always goes with dies irae, whether it is sequentia cyclica, or the another one with "super human" busoni dedication (he didn't like it) I did with Toccata Quarta, with an independent inspiration, for typesetting and virtual performance, but unfortunately it got deleted and I was at the brink of movement 1 (theme and variations) And I must say, it was sorabji's most fun work as of myself, it is virtuostic to the core, very lively and fresh. @basedscores thanks for your comment. The credit for this performance must go to Alberto and for the superhuman work in typesetting the three volume score to Frazer Jarvis. As Alberto said in his description this work is something of a cross between Sequentia Cyclica and the Transcendental Studies with 81 shorter variations for roughly the same length as the 27 variations of SC. I think most people will find the SV a tougher nut to crack than SC because it is an original theme and (if you'll forgive me) not one of Sorabji's most memorable. Although it is worth noting that the theme is split into three parts and each part starts with a three note configuration of a C minor triad. Something to hang on to.
