Synplant 2: Cloning a Casio PT-30

Күн бұрынSampling in the PT-30 through an analog heat and then cloning those sounds with Synplant 2. I had also recorded onto tape but got bad interference or some sort of sound artefacts through the recorder. I will try the tape cassette again another day.

This is really cool. Also, the melody is reminiscent of Zedd's NFT drop from a few years ago. Wish he just made that a normal release tho.

Ich saß schon stundenlang da und habe Sounds geclont, weils einfach süchtig macht. So ein geiles plugin. 🙂

I only had it a little while but I’m liking it a lot. Really like the bit crusher and rough crunch on drums!

@@TirmanKidMusic The analog heat can do subtle really well, add a bit of saturation, warmth and it also can get really dirty and distorted when needed, plus with the fx theres also a bit more to play around with. Its nice for sound design also. I think I'd use it on a master bus. The oto boum is great for giving an immediate punch, really in your face, great on drums and certain synths/bass, the gate and filter are really nice. Both great, theres a lot more to the AH fx but if you want warmth and saturation you wont go wrong with the Boum.

@@viennabonaparteThanks for replying 🙏. I have a boum but ive been obsessing about the heat + fx. I dont think its necessary to have both but it can be a lot of fun.
