"Sandstorm" is an instrumental by Finnish DJ and record producer Darude. It was released as the lead single from his debut studio album, Before the Storm. It was initially released in Finland on 26 October 1999 by 16 Inch Records and was later re-released in many other countries in 2000.

@Nobelk-USA1122 Back in the day when this was popular I went to Chicago for a long memorial day weekend. EVERY club, bar, etc was playing this. It was absolutely epic. I never danced so much in my life since the disco days. Now, my body is old, achy and arthritic but I see and hear this and I am young again on the dance floor! Dance as much and as fast as you can, the days go by so quickly!!!

I think of it like a click track… I work with a lot of bigger known bands and most use a click track that the drummer hears through headphones… Nothing wrong with that!!! Of course, a certain band from Canada had a drummer that was his own click track…. RIP Neil ….

I am sure this is the venue we had Darude in when I toured him back in 2001 or maybe the second tour. It is a unique piece of dance culture and the Synthony took it to the next level!
