Syr Gwyn Voltron Knight Tribal was my first ever commander deck, is still my main to this day after nearly 3 years of playing Magic. So happy she's accurately represented here, because the way I play her is Ride of the Rohirrim blasting in the background while my knights-of-mass-destruction roll over any defense the rest of the table manages to slap together.

Gwyn is such a great Commander if she gets going but the problem is she doesn't get going unless you erase some of that mana from her casting cost and scribble "haste" on one of the empty parts of the text box because WotC really thought they could make a 6-mana commander in anti-Simic that doesn't have haste or protection and requires an established board to do anything and then put her in the same lineup as Chulane and Korvold.

I want to take this chance to remind people that Syr Gwyn is the *worst* commander from that brawl set, and I say that as someone who has a Syr Gwyn deck. What ha happend was WotC had the design teams create the 4 brawl decks SEPARATE from each other and then made NO INTERPLAY before printing, so one team came back with CHULANE, the other swung by with KORVOLD, and mardu knights got a 6cmc that COSTS YOU LIFE TO DRAW. Also there was a faerie commander. ALSO THEY THEN MADE WARRIOR BASED EQUIPMENT SUPPORT IN THE IMMEDIATE NEXT SET I'm not mad 😾

My favorite equipment Voltron is Balan, Wandering Knight. She can use her ability to equip at instant speed and gets around shroud. She also fits pretty well in syr gwyn

If that wasn't bad enough she also has vigilance and menace. Hard to block and she stays up to block you if you are somehow still alive.

I love this deck so much, I kinda just built it around knights and giving each knight an equipment. My group doesn't use commander damage, because I didn't like accidentally winning with it with this deck

I have an equipment deck that is based around white and green cats. The way it works is rather powerful because it is able to give all of my creatures trample, haste, first strike, double strike, death touch, lifeline, indestructible, vigilance, flying, hexproof, shroud, protection from all five colors, a massive bonus to power and toughness and probably the best part is the ability to straight up exile anything they touch and they are duplicating with every attack into a massive army that can't be blocked by more than one creature each. I might have forgotten to say that this whole situation has the possibility of happening on turn three or four if I'm extremely lucky however it probably will be closer to turn eight or ten when it happens.

I built a Voltron deck around her, it curb stomped my opponents' life totals.

Ah, Syr Gwyn, the only Eldraine "Commander" I didn't build a deck for. Korvold is a natural aristocrat and borderline cEDH. Chulane seems happy in my Second Sun flicker deck (which if it draws hot is _also_ borderline cEDH). And Alela has been _several_ things, like artifact infinite turn combo, mana rock storm, aristocrat burn, enchanted pillow fort featuring Thoracle, nonlegendary clone spam, and her current build is anthem tribal. But Syr Gwyn I could never figure out. Instead I built Siona as Enchanted Voltron to fill her slot in the quatrain.

I wanna make a Syr Gwyn deck. I currently have an Ardenn and Rograkh (or Akiri, Line Slinger if I wanna bring down the power a bit) deck, and I'm currently building towards an Ardenn and Tana deck for the added token sub-theme. I think I'm just gonna put all the cards from all 3 of these decks into the same sleeve so I can morph which deck I want to play as I please instead of having to break down a deck (I'm thinking about doing that with all my cards probably with a custom design from Dragon Shields so that way I can swap all my shocks and fetches to other decks).

i got her in my 5 color knight deck ...... the commander is " Najeela the blade-blossom " so they get extra combat turns people have to bring bottles of water because of the salt it brings

I just built a Rograkh deck, and my local store didn't have Colossal Hammer! I don't have any "equip for free" effects, so it'll be a dead card in my hand 80 percent of the time, but it's funny as hell and I want it!

A buddy of mine played her but never really got it going so I’ve unfortunately never seen a Gwyn at full or even lethal power.

Well you just gave me a solid idea of what my next Commander deck is going to be. Her plus a few other things = tokens for days and smacking you in the face for more life then you have haha.

I wanna build a knights deck around this, but it'd just be silly to have 2 equipment decks. Makes me think of a mix of bruenor battlehammer/puresteel paladin in my RWB dihada equipment commander deck.
