With the schedule and the addition of talent and the stars that stayed for another season there is no reason this group couldn’t get double digit wins.

As a life long Syracuse fan who didn't start following them till the end of the Paul Pasqualoni years and then had the pleasure of watching Greg Robinson single handly ruin this program, it would be nice to have a team I knew that wasn't just hype. Doug Marrone was a con artist, Scott Shafer was well...Scott Shafer and Dino just couldn't build a consistent winner. I will give Dino this, he did get this team up in the Top 25 rankings a few times during his tenure and even had some big wins over Clemson but he never could sustain the momentum with the last few seasons being turned into complete duds once the conference schedule started. Saying all that, I want to believe in this team but I need to see it with my own two eyes first. I been let down way too much in the past for my Cuse heart to get broken again. Also if Cuse can get College Gameday to show up, that would be a win in itself.

I don’t blame you. I think all of us who remember the 80s/90s know it’s a long way to go. They have to go do it on the field. But nice to see the talent acquisition has improved.

I’m a realist our roster was good but needed bigger and better we have gaddson,Hatcher ,Allen,wax,Barron, Clark returning we beefed up our d line and o line and got a winner as a qb all that being said I think in FRAN BROWN 1st season will put college football on notice 10 plus this upcoming season….brown will be a great coach people need to understand just like any other jobs some people work there way up some people know what they want and get it if I work at Burger King for 10 years plus I will know how to manage it just need right peace’s around me 🥶🍊🥶LETS GO ORANGE 🍊

Maybe I'm just bitter about the program but i sorta hate what CFB has become. It feels like there's way more possessions in a game than the nfl thus impossible for lesser talented teams to compete. That said cautiously optimistic if we're actually raising said talent level, that's 90% of the battle. Although let's be honest McCord was just a guy surrounded by pros.
