Syracuse vs. North Carolina: The Orange remained undefeated after pulling out a 14-12 win over the Tar Heels in a battle between two top five teams. The fifth-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels trailed by two goals heading into the fourth quarter, and then a Reilly Casey goal with 4:10 remaining tied the game at 12. Emma Tyrrell assisted Megan Carney with the go-ahead goal 20 seconds later, and then Tyrrell scored a clinching goal with 1:12 remaining. Tyrell finished the game with four goals and two assists. Meaghan Tyrell had two goals and four assists. Natalie Smith added three goals. For North Carolina, Nicole Humphrey had a team-high three goals scored. Caroline Godine added two goals and four assists.
