I’m Colombians always curious about Syria It was a big impact when the war I cried so much when I saw so much suffering from the Syrian people specially the children. It feels like is more fun there than where I live I see people interacting and having a normal life I love the street markets and people seem warm and friendly completely opposite of what is living in USA.

If u remember, I'm the guy who got infected with the bug " WILDLENS" please keep these videos coming, love each n every one of them. 👍🙂. Also please please pay extra to your guide, there is no tourism hence it will be a while for his next client. I remember him how he received, helped n guided you at the Syrian border with ALL THE CLEARANCES, physically running around....i did observe that too. I loved old Damascus! I lived in Damascus from July 2005 till September 2009. I used to walk through old Damascus with my children once a week and see wood work shops, old Damascus homes, eat the traditional 'Bakdashi' ice-cream from one of the oldest ice cream parlours in the world.

You did a great courage to go and explore Syria at this time. Damascus bazar did have look and feel of war torn country. Once the center of business and economical corridor now Syria is devastated unfortunately. I wish the rulers of these countries should do better for their own people and not just for their rule

Syria was a country in peace till the Americans brought them their vision and version of democracy. Like so many other places around the world. Stole their culture and their resources without flinching. Their rulers may be a pariah somewhat but not as much as the Americans portrayed them.

I know this souk from my travels there over ten years ago. It looks very quiet compared to what it was then. There used to be a guy that walked around with a big ornate drink container on his back dressed in fancy clothes. I miss you Damascus. Was only there for a few days and I wasn't even a muslim but I still felt its pull. I remember talking to an old American man who was there on his own. He said he was thinking that he wanted to stay and I remember feling the same thing. Never really felt that feeling in any other town anywhere in the world.

Syria is a blessed country as Rasulullah SAWS invoked blessings upon its people. You can see the nur on their faces. Beautiful people. Thank you for these vlogs!! They are wonderful MA. Always wanted to visit Syria because of its religious and historic significance. I hope you get to visit Jabbal Qasioun. It has great religious significance and overlooks the city. Syria has different religious societies and cultures like muslims, Christians, druze and Jews with different societies like arabs, assyrians, Turks and Kurds there is more societies with different cultures living together
