Geometry is now your friend. A very square video. Everyone should try this angle. People, spread it through your circles.

A very geometrical way of thinking, now apply this to the internal body to generate eficient and economical moves in real fighting. A tribute to Pitagoras

I very much like how in your videos you analyze body mechanics, movements and techniques according to fairly simple principles as perpendicular lines, triangles, balance vs. base area, rolling, etc. This method of analysis gives students a more precise way to examine their own techniques to check if they are applying them correctly. Thank you.

Nicely demonstrated. The carboard seemed goofy - but it was not - it worked well to illustrate the principle

Hi Alex. Very cool. I have recently been attracted to the Russian Systema, and Sambo methods, and that after closely watching world politics for many years, and appreciating the role of Putin's Russia, in being maybe the final rallying point against the Empire. Applying Pythagoras is really cool, since I also studied the development of Classical Greece, as well what may be the original, or first recorded MMA- Pancrase, or Pankration (of which Plato was a practitioner). Thanks!

In Silat they use equal length triangles and the force goes to the half angle vector. That's not the same but gives a good memnonic for many throws.

Hi Alex. I am 59 years old and I would like to know if I can start the systema without risk...
@transitioncrt2526
@transitioncrt2526 5 жыл бұрын
Dear Frederic, you can start training Systema without any problem at your age. I have had many 60+ students. Important is that you understand that you are not practising a game but a serious system. So you should train serious and carefull. Especially training on slow speed will avoid injuries. Later you can always add speed in a controlled way. In my whole Systema career I have seen one serious injury and that was totally an accident. So yeah I think the risk won't be high as long as you train responsibly and controlled. Greetings and stay safe, Alex
