FM is so confusing and intense yet intuitive. I want to do more with sytrus and fm8 but I find myself resampling Massive and Harmor a lot.

This tutorial helped me out a lot recently. I have my own take on this sound, so I made my own tutorial by following what you did in this, but doing some things differently - I hope you don't mind that I based mine around yours. I will put a link to this video in the description of mine :)

Hey why did you use tge mod x modulation amount so wierd ? i would just do a straight line ? but otherwise cool bass ^^

Holy fuck man only about after an hour of playing with those to envelopes and I got a nice talking bass thanks a ton :) If only i picked up fruity loops around the same time a guitar was stuck in my hand no telling where id be :P

Just tried this out. It's hard to really get it to not sound too noisy. Kinda trial and error.

When I downloaded it everything you did in this video was already done to the fst file, but it sounded nothing like a gritty filthy growl, it sounded more like someone held down the highest note on a piano. Either I did something wrong when I put it into my Sytrus presets or there's something wrong with my Fl Studio.

This also works in operator although it is not as easy to modulate.

Operator cant do the additive synthesis like in sytrus's OSC engine.

So how do you modulate operators with other operators in Ableton operator? where does the 'grid' come up i cant find it... or is there a different way in operator?

Lukeme9X actually yes it can. But operator does not have the waveform bender (stretcher or whatever the proper term for it is.)
