Includes a 235kg Clean & Jerk at 94kg, 18 years old and
232.5kg Clean & Jerk at 96.4kg at age 17! (was a Junior World Record for 105kg!) and a bunch of training footage.

it's crazy that he reached his peak at 18 did he have any injuries that held him back? i know he went on to win a silver and gold later in his career but it's a shame his performance dropped off later on

In many interviews he said that injuries were the reason why he must drop his career. He's one of the best in history, imagine if no injuries what would be his lifts if he had chance to keep up his career.

Not unprecedented. Zakharevich went from snatching 117 and clean & jerking 142 at 15 to 150/185 at 16. Ilya Ilyin did 117/165 at 14 and then 142/185 at 15.

At that time ,Probably Symon Kolecki was so dominant in Clean&Jerk -94kg Class but after his early age his number down a little before 2008 Olympics

If this guy took up powerlifting instead of weightlifting when he was younger, he would have been up there with Ed Coan and John Haack as the goat. Kolecki is 1 of the strongest men to have ever walked on the planet period

Not really. His best back squat is 255 for 2 iirc which is not that much. He's just very talented for weightlifting and able to be very technical and efficient with his strength. Doesn't mean he has a lot of brute strength. Quite the oppposite.
