The comparison made at 1:22 is showing two different helmets in different theater of operations. MOST of the examples in photographs from the ETO are identical, so it's likely with the photograph on the left being in the SWPA/PTO the parts used would be different.

You know what would be a really interesting video the longest battle during WW2 which is I know the Atlantic but it would be still a interesting video

Glad you enjoyed it! USMF is actually where I discovered this helmet as well. I used a couple of threads from there in my research for this. Really neat helmet, wish there was more info out there on them.
