@@kjreacts7715yeah, I liked your interpretation. I also can see what Annaholmes is saying. TOP's music always has several layers - GD's too. Like real art, people can interpret it and take what they want from it themselves. They are both really thoughtful and imo intellectual music artists. They both love art and TOP in particular uses references to it quite a bit in his work it seems. He refers to himself as a god-given rap Basquiat. I know Basquiat was an american artist who started doing political graffiti in the lower east side in the 1970's and ended up with creating some of the most expensive artwork in the world, selling at auction for over $100mil. His themes were often comparing opposites like inner and outer experience. Really interesting artist whose work made statements. TOP also references Dali in the mv and I think also maybe diVinci. Probably others too.

Btw GD and TOP are the first rapline in Kpop groups. They pioneered to have a rappers in the group. And Bigbang succeeded in that. Reasons why every Kpop groups have rappers. T.O.P or TTTOP/ Real name Choi Seunghyun. Is a singer,rapper,art Connoisseur and Wine Connoisseur and have his own Winery Farm in Abroad and his wine empire is TSPOT WINE,have his own label too,the first Kpop idol to travel in the moon space soon with his billionare Japanese best friend. He is also a great awarded actor. And he have more than 100 Arts collection in his house,and also a Furniture man. He's also a chair collector with yk rare art designs. So in his Doom Dada MV, he showed some of his precious art collections. Art and T.O.P are synonymous to each other. Sheesh talk about full circle moments in his life. I missed the part of is art being in the video but thank you because I will go back and check. That is pretty brutal to say someone is too chubby to be part of the group. I wonder if it was for appearance purposes or knowing the amount of work and effort that goes into the dancing singing and performing that they were wanting someone to make sure they can handle what comes with the job. His accolades are incredible tbh.

@@kjreacts7715 Kpop in general is a harsh world in South Korea where a society that public opinion matters the most. It's KPop standard to be like thin skinny for girl groups and visually beautiful and handsome & slender body for boy groups. And to think of many Kpop Idols took their own lives due to Korean Netizens scrutiny,bullying and more. More Bigbang reactions esp the lives performances. @@kjreacts7715really goid performance - but for dramatic effect and holding an audience in the palm of your hand, I would also suggest wathing act like nothing's wrong from the big bang show 2010 - such power and control over the audience - BIGBANG members totally have an amazing 'X' factor imo - masters at their craft. (did you already watch Hallelujah from that show? I think you may have.

@@kjreacts7715 he comes from a family where many studied art at university . He also has a famous painter and a known writer among ancestors. He and GDragon houses are like museums . Not only paintings but furniture is art too . They are also friends with many artists . Dadaism was rejecting logic . It was an artistic response after WW1 in Europe. It was the way artists express their trauma after all the distruction they experienced .

@@kjreacts7715Top came from a family of prominent artists, runs in his family. The live animals shown in this MV is credit to Whanki Foundation, an uncle who is S. Korea abstract art pioneer. If I remember correctly, his grandfather is also a famous writer of s.korea. TOp himself is am art collaborator, an entrepreneur. He own vineyard and have his own wine brand called T'Spot. This MV has a lot of symbolism, in idealism. It's a lot deeper than what you can see. You got to react to his live performance, especially the one in Japan.

no shade to the other agencies (who may have even better technical singers than taeyang and daesung) and not to actually praise YG too much, but bigbang was the first kpop group to have REAL rappers. south korea had (and still have) pure hip-hop groups, and separate vocal groups. before bigbang, the rap part in a kpop song may be barely four lines written by a song writer hired by the company, and not by the group's "rapper". i put that in quotes because before bigbang, i (and probably the south korean rappers as well) consider those "rappers" only "kpop rappers." these "kpop rappers" were probably the guys with minimal singing ability (meaning they passed the audition because they were good looking or were good dancers). in a recording or performance, those weak singers still need to have lines so they automatically become the "rappers." after bigbang, the agencies probably became more active in enticing/scouting young unsigned rappers into training for kpop groups. and the rappers actually began respecting kpop after GD and TOP made their names. after bigbang, boy groups also started to have at least one deep-voiced rapper/singer (like TOP and Daesung) because group harmonies sound really nice when there's a deep tone in the background, unlike when it's just a group of tenors belting together. this last paragraph is just my theories, i don't think i've read any articles from industry experts about this.

Man that is actually a really cool fac that I didnt know. The were the originators of true rappers in Kpop not just people who looked good and wasn't talented enough to sing so they became rappers. Thank you for that. You can definitely tell between kpop rappers and the true rappers that dedicate their lives to rapping.

Doom Dada LIVE is........ 🤯 BigBang 2015 MaMa Performance. 🤯🤯🤯 My ultimate bias is Taeyang... my man with the voice from the heavens that leaves me 💀. So eventually make your way there ya with his timeless beauty - Eyes Nose Lips 🙃 As well as my genius GDragon beautiful - Untitled. And of course the sub-unit of GDragon and Taeyang's: GoodBoy. Again, there's so much more do more BigBang peppered with their solos and sub-units.... their repertoire is insanely good. HAVE FUN!!

My personal favorites are Bullshit, Middle Fingers Up, Superstar, Untitled 2014, Divina Comedia, Today, One of a Kind, all his work with GDTOP (Zutter, High High, Don’t Leave, Knock Out, etc) & GDYB (I.e Good Boy) My friend, there is SO much discography for you to get thru. Each member is a superstar in their own regard, so their solo work is just as extensive and amazing as their group work. TOP doesn't have many solo songs because he's too busy being an award winning actor or whatever. We thought we were going to finally get a TOP solo album but ge went and got himself cast on Squid game season 2. But you have to watch Act like nothings wrong/ Doom Dada performance from 0.To.10 tour. It's iconic but also controversial. BTS kinda copied tge staging and that caused some dust up between fans.
