I’ve owned both of these models and highly recommend. Everyone at AC Air Technology has always been very helpful. I upgraded to the X3 to maneuver a Cessna in tighter quarters as well as a Stearman. If you don’t have wheel pants, you’ll certainly love the X3 the most. It’s incredibly maneuverable.

On the T1X3 - when you are demonstrating the maneuverability, spinning the plane around (which is a really cool trick), that nose gear seems like it's turned quite far (eg, at 12'34"). How is it not stressing that nose gear which appears to be at its limit? Is there any risk of damage to nose gear on a plane whose turn is more restricted, like on a Meridian?

The nose wheel will turn if the resistance in the nose wheel is less than the resistance in the lazy Susan. In this case the nose wheel can turn until the resistance becomes more than in the lazy Susan and that may occur when the nose wheel reaches its limit. It doesn't take much resistance in the nose wheel before the lazy susan starts to rotate. When I was doing that video I saw the lazy susan was rotating a little before it got anywhere close to the limits. This is a good thing to look for because there is a chance, either mechanical or operator error, that the lazy susan isn't disengaged and you don't want to accidently overstress the limit. Once you see that the lazy susan has turned a little bit then you know for sure it is disengaged and will be safe even when it hits the limit.
