Yes proceed as you have already paid for the service you should be good to go so re-install Mac OS Sonoma from recovery like in my video command option +R intall the OS and as you can see where I start from in my video you do the same don’t forget to back everything up 1st on your USB or external hard drive 👍

No do a full restore start from the beginning make sure it’s on Sonoma and proceed to do what I done you will not have any pop ups or any problems anymore, remember to back everything up from your Mac 1st before you proceed 👍

Alright, so I began the steps, and off the bat the page that says “ Remote Management macOS MDM Lock Bypass Tool.” It doesn’t show it’s compatible with Sonoma like how it does on your cell phone and it doesn’t show the compatibility with my 2019 MacBook Pro i7 A2141 laptop.

Hey man, I just updated my Mac to Sonoma 14.6 and it's working fine, but there is a notification saying: enroll in remote management. So should this work on my case?

NO there’s not supposed to be any enrolment notifications @ all you may need to back everything up and restore it to bypass it again I would not advise people to update my advice is stay were you are betas are not necessary, I told the people when a bypass comes out for sequoia I will do content on it.

Because you’re using a silicon Mac 💻 any Mac that is M1/M2/M3 to enter the Mac 💻 OS recovery you simply power off the device and when you power it back on hold down the power button and it will start the load up disk select the settings cog ⚙️ on the right click it and bingo Mac 💻 os recovery there’s loads of videos on KZfaq about this I used a T2 Mac 💻 with T2 different process 👍

Ok that’s down to 2 things 1 you have no SSD which I’m assuming that’s not the case and you do 2 you have the remote encryption that has 6 boxes total asking you for the 6 digit pin other than those 2 it will go into recovery what exactly is displayed on your screen Jason

What kind of password Jason for example a standard username password an EFI firmware password if it’s EFI there will be a padlock 🔒 on the screen soon as you turn it on or an activation lock password explain the password to me and the symbol I don’t want to rush you but it’s late I will be going to sleep in about half hour 👍

I'm using an M1 Max on Ventura 13.6.1 - Comand + Option + R does not boot into recovery after hitting the power button first as you instructed @6:10 I know that I need to wipe the Mac first before proceeding but I cannot get recovery working with Sonoma (Cmd+Opt+R) ... It's Ventura only AFAIK ... Is it possible to use software update to update to Sonoma and then wipe the Mac? Any suggestions?

On M1/M2/M3 you enter recovery by simply holding down the power button you only use command option + R for T2 there’s loads of videos on how to put a silicon Mac 💻 in recovery easy 👍 also yes you do need to enter recovery 1st install it and go from there you cannot update manually as stated in the video also as stated on the checkm8 website. You can do that yes in some cases it does malfunction when booting from the USB but in most cases it doesn’t 👍

So... to clarify if I understand you correctly we get a user name: "admin" and password: "1111" for the bypass, I did not hear you say if we are able to update the user name and password after the bypass is done, or is it that we are never to change these settings? I just updated from Monterey to Sonoma 4.3 and expected to see the remote lock screen but I have full access to the MacBook. There is a remote management message however but it's back to the old option of doing it later. So now I have no remote lock screen. I will see what happens over the next few days and advise you or follow the procedure if it should return. In the meantime much thanks for your tutorial vids, have subscribed and I'll keep looking out for your new content.

You mentioned in the vid, do not upgrade after buying the service. Should I upgrade from Big Sur to Sonoma OS first before buying the service? I wiped the HDD recently based on your previous video, but I know my company MDM will surface eventually. Perhaps it’s irrelevant because if the MDM lock surfaces, I just need to repeat the process.

Hello, i updated to Sonoma on an m1 macbook air and now (after 1,5 year of normal use) have a popup of external management. I followed everything in the video but it say's: a user account has been found on youre device. Please reinstall MacOs version or contact our team. Is it a factory reset that i have to do? You need to wipe the mac 💻 1st then reinstall Mac 💻 OS Sonoma from the Mac OS recovery and proceed from there.

Like I stated in the video it states on the checkm8 website no restore and no update so by entering recovery mode by pressing command option + R will show the latest Mac OS Sonoma you install it from there and do not update like I have shown in the video 👍

Yes you do have to go through the same process for Sonoma, regarding future updates I will know more about that when Sonoma 14.3 is released as that’s the next beta due for release I can only speculate what it states on the checkm8 website, I’m guessing when a new update comes out if someone wanted to update it then they would have to start the entire process again but @ this stage that is purely conjecture so regarding the new updates I guess we will find out soon 🔜 👍

When you sign in to iCloud the keychain box might show up in some cases if so just power the device off and on again all apps work fine it’s fully functional and fully activated.

I purchased it already and received an email that it was successfully processed however, when I tried to do the command,option R it didn't show up the Safari but it's only showing 2 icons (like hard drive and settings icon) the hard drive icon has name underneath as Untitled and the Settings icon says Options. Yes if you have input the correct serial number and it says not supported then it’s likely to be an older MacBook 💻 2017 or below ⬇️ that you’re using this method covers T2 MacBooks 💻 2018-2020 and silicon MacBooks 2020 - present what model Mac do you have and is it just MDM locked

I just updated to Sonoma, I didn't know my Mac was Bypassed previously on Ventura (That's why I updated). Im able to use it, though I have a notification that's says "Suscribe to remote management". I haven't clicked on suscribe, Im afraid some day it will stop working. My questions are... Should I wait till it stops working to bypassed it? Do I have to reinstall Sonoma to start with the bypass? Will it work if I have Sonoma 14.3?

Yes it does work on Sonoma 14.3 the mistake you made was updating from Ventura this method means you start the bypass from Sonoma so back everything up from your Mac 💻 1st install Sonoma from Mac 💻 os recovery like I have in the video then do the bypass in the terminal as I have done this method does not show any MDM profile notifications @ all where you went wrong was updating from Ventura wasn’t a wise decision but always an easy fix 👍

Like I previously said you need to back everything up including signing out of iCloud when you enter the Mac OS recovery erase the main SSD from disk utility install Mac OS Sonoma once that’s done, then back to Mac 💻 os recovery open safari in the URL types checkm8.info/code hit enter like I have done copy the command thread paste it into the terminal and restart your computer that’s it, it’s all in the video.

I unfortunately found this video after I watched your old video from a year ago! I had erased the Mac HD, reinstalled the OS, then found this video and started following this process. When I try to run the command in Terminal, it notifies me that it's not able to detect an installed MacOS system on the device. I've already tried to reinstall the MacOS twice now. Any ideas? Yes they maybe a user account imbedded in the drive or your bridge os may need updating, to do that you will need to back up everything 1st then do a DFU restore on your Mac 💻 using Apple Configurator 2 on another MacBook 💻 if you don’t know how to do a DFU RESTORE, there are plenty of videos on KZfaq to show you it’s a simple process once you have restored your target 🎯 Mac then proceed with the installation by pressing power command option + R on your T2 Mac to bring up the latest Mac OS then proceed with the installation of Sonoma once done and your @ the remote management Lock Screen then do the bypass that will most certainly work thanks for your time 👍

Yes so if you don’t have any files to backup then that’s great proceed anyway if you do I’m not talking about files that are already stored in your iCloud account as there going to be stored there anyway I’m basically referring to files that you may need from your desktop or downloads or documents 📃 folder 📁 IE WORK FAMILY PERSONAL ETC to extract that to an external memory so you don’t loose it like a USB memory stick or external hard drive, however if you don’t have any files/storage then just proceed.

I’m having trouble with my checkm8 version. I tried the macOS Monterey method and it failed when I got to launching the checkm8 app… I got a prompt saying my software version is old. I then updated to Sonoma and my bypass process stops at 20%. I don’t know what’s going on… I did purchase the checkm8 software

Hi i tried your approach and every thing was going fine till Utilities part that when i entered code i got a prompt that the "We are unable to detect Installed MacOS System". It looks like the MDM unlock is permanent while the MDM bypass, you have to redo every time the operating system comes out upgrade. Am I wrong? @cameronjpu correct the 80 USD one is a permanent removal = GONE FOREVER ♾️ the 30 USD one is a bypass and that’s why it’s cheaper this option is only available for T2 MacBooks 💻 so if you have a MacBook 💻 from 2018-2020 with a T2 chipset you can do the removal, a lot of people do the removal as the bypass can cause problems when a new OS comes out others go with the bypass because they choose to save money ultimately the choice is yours.

No any time of management is taken off completely unless you erase it so make sure it’s updated to the latest Sonoma 14.4.1 and start from the beginning if you do it properly no management pop up will show @ all.

The keychain error yes that tends to happen sometimes on an MDM bypass on setup only so setup the device go into settings then sign into iCloud it will work.

The error code is an easy fix sometimes it can fail with the error code a few times I’ve had it fail on me 8 times before and the 9th time I was lucky, however I would recommend you update the bridge OS to do that you need to restore your mac using Apple Configurator 2 but you need another MacBook 💻 as a host Mac 💻 there loads of videos on KZfaq showing you how to do that.or you can keep trying the internet 🛜 recovery and eventually it will go to the Mac OS recovery and proceed from there either way it’s an easy fix and you’re Mac 💻 will be up and running in no time 👍

A read only state can you be more specific for example what does the encryption look like what does it say is there a specific symbol on the screen enabling you to point me in the right direction thanks.

I tried to mount it in recovery, but I don't really entirely know what I'm doing either. But that's the error I keep getting while trying to do this on Ventura.

Ok sometimes you need to update your MacBook 💻 to the latest version of Sonoma that maybe the reason however just to confirm are you using this specific command as sometimes they change⬇️ sh < (curl mdm.checkm8.info/mdm.sh)

Also if the drive is in a read only state you may need to boot into Mac 💻 os recovery select disk utility erase your main SSD and then proceed with the installation of Mac 💻 os Sonoma to do this make sure you power on your Mac 💻 and press command option + R 👍 also as you have a T2 MacBook 💻 you can actually remove the encryption forever ♾️ please let me know. Everything was working as you described, but I am not able to access any webpages via the safari application within the recovery menu. I tried to type the code in manually and that didn’t work either. Any help / thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

People have had errors on opening the safari browser on T2 macs but if you type in the code manually it does work maybe you typed it incorrectly or you missed a space.if the code didn’t work what did it say on terminal for example there was an error with the code or please reinstall Mac OS what did it say exactly because no one has ever had this problem before.

There’s an easy fix for that it’s very common with the T2 MacBooks 💻 safari won’t open on the Mac OS recovery problem error top left yea I’ve seen that there’s a way around that quit safari click utilities open terminal and type this command right here ⬇️ sh

You don’t download it you start from the Mac OS recovery you need to wipe your device 1st and install the latest Sonoma then when in the recovery do exactly what I do in the video 👍

For MDM you can perform a normal update that’s fine but when a new Mac 💻 os comes out in September hold off on that until I do a video or you hear it from someone else ok, 👍 but regarding Sonoma proceed with the update normally.

Removed or bypassed if it’s removed you can do what ever you want to it if it’s bypassed then I would recommend you back everything up 1st just in case as you are on Monterey 👍

You can update straight to 14.3 the device will not re-lock ✅ as long as you have paid for the premium service there’s no re-lock on Sonoma 14.3 unless you done the bypass on Monterey or below ⬇️ it will re-lock if you done the bypass on Ventura or Sonoma then no re-lock✅

Yea this situation happens extremely rare but it happens so basically there is a user account that is still attached to the MacBook 💻 even though you can’t see it so I need to ask are you using T2= Intel Mac or silicon Mac and yes it’s important.

So obviously you back up your data to external memory before you proceed with the bypass so once all your data is backed up enter Mac OS recovery using command option + R erase your drive on disk utility and proceed with the installation of Mac OS Sonoma once installed and your @ where I am @ the beginning of the video proceed and do what I do if you’re using a silicone Mac 💻 you need to hold down the power button to enter Mac OS recovery now if it shows a different Mac OS either try to get into the Mac to update it or create a USB with the latest Sonoma on and boot from there again that’s only if you have a silicon Mac = M1/M2/M3 ✅ if you want more information ℹ️ please open this checkm8 link 🔗 and read what they have specified about this bypass thank you. checkm8.info/bypass-mac-mdm-lock

What I'd like to know is how to actually back up the data to external storage if I'm already stuck on the remote management screen? I think in the video you mention backing up your data if you have access to your mac, but as I am currently stuck on the remote management screen, I cannot do this. Unfortunately, the page you linked to doesn't mention anything abut backing up your data. Is there a way for me to back up my data if I am currently stuck on the remote management screen? Or is my only option to wipe my data and then proceed with the bypass? Apologies if I am just being thick here, and thanks again

So hang on a minute you have data/storage on your Mac 💻 but you’re stuck @ the remote management screen 😆😆you can’t be serious look try to bypass it without connecting to WiFi you should be able to get access that way if you do then extract what you have to your external memory USB/hard drive if there’s no way to bypass then you will have to restore. Need to ask though how have you got storage/data on a device that has the encryption on it yet you don’t know the MDM encryption password that’s a strange 1 mate.
