Evening,
I this episode I add some more black to the soon 'murdered' theme of the van. Not to everyones taste but it's not everyones van....
I tried out some different editing in this one, hopefully resulting in some better post production stuff (remember I'm still new, have a home life and a job so not all of my time can go into this). Disclaimer if it's rubbish! (Also a more in your face thumbnail, soz).
Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Hi I just subscribed, I watch a lot of content on various other t5/6 conversions, I own a slightly modified mk8 golf gti , but the reason I subscribed was out of respect, when you took of the poppy and said definitely that it’s going back on for a young man to say that there must be some history, so total respect and I will watch and enjoy this episode and future one’s tc

The lower three you can remove from the front without taking bumper off 👍

Cool, do the foglights not get a grill on top of it or its finished like this?

Hi. Great video. I'm looking at doing exactly the same grill replacement to my starlight t6. I've been advised by a body shop to spray the grills gloss black as opposed to replacing them with aftermarket grills. Having done this mod already would you consider spraying the originals or def replace with aftermarket ones. Cheers Stu

Thanks Stuart. I would recommend just buying some of these, it’s labour intensive to smooth the standard grilles as they are textured and have to be flattened to an extent. Also, if you ever sell the van you van either sell the old ones or refit. Standard parts usually broaden the market plus you can sell the aftermarket parts, just my experience and the way I do things. Also, painter parts will suffer from stone chips but gloss black plastic will not. Just bare in mind that you’ll never get a better fit or (usually) quality than oe parts. Without recording this it would have taken between 2 and 3 hours. Josh
