Gavin is the hero in this movie in 2023 to me. He is a man going through the motions knowing he has to keep carrying on and be diligent no matter his lowly moments and mistakes. Hes a dancing puppet and he knows it.

Goal 1 was a perfect story. Goal 2 was a good sequel to follow the original storyline with everyone that was in the 1st film. Goal 3 wasn't the same nor the story.

My favorite part of the movie is when Santiago is upset about being left off the reserve roster and the coach says he isn't at his disposal and informs him that he's playing with the team in London.

A mixture of emotions happy and sad in this film! Will always be a childhood favourite for me but regardless how his father was, I can’t help but cry at the end cause of the sheer thought of me in his situation and my dad passing away😫

Wow, this is my first time finally watching this, never got around to it all those years ago, it's so fascinating seeing guys like Dyer and Bowyer. Seeing Jenas from way back, Even shearer lol. Imagine Newcastle having a pen and shearer not taking it in such a game. Anyways, it was pretty nice.

This is a movie, but it depicts what is the real life, and it shows that everything is possible, but you have to believe it and have faith. No path is really simple and easy, but if you want to achieve something, you can do it, it depends on you, even if sometimes you think it wasn't your fault or responsibility. The life is yours and even if someone told you what to do, and after following his advice, you failed, you can't complain saying that he was wrong... you decided, and probably you followed your mind instead of your heart. You have to feel, not think. Great acting and directing, this movie deserves some awards, I hope it got at least one. Thanks for uploading.

Great Movie... i am so happy to watch this movie.... wanted to be a professional footballer but my father told me to study and I ended up studying in 5 different countries and worked for big multinational companies. But I never gave up my dreams and I started my own Sportswear Brand back in 2013 called STRiKKE and still going on strong and I have recently started my own football Club and Agency called AFRICA UNITED to develop football players from African Origin.

The thing is this is real,old football scene ppl really appreciate much and give more credits to someone who gave an assist instead of someone scoring a tapin or something easy,now in modern football especially for new generation they only care about who's scoring the goal,i don't want to attempt to put who's the player exactly but ppl really praised a lot for someone who score a tapin goal instead of give more credits to someone assist

I was once the biggest talent in my small country of Kuwait,, but sadly at the age of 15, I broke my ankle in training...then a year later had a terrible ACL. I was never the same after that day. My life long dream was to play for Newcastle United and wear that famous No.9 Now I just support the club religiously and having lived in Newcastle for 3 years ( college ),, I assure everyone that the Geordies ( Newcastle Folks ) are exactly how they've portrayed themselves in this movie,, Funny,, Humble,, Honest hard-workers who would stop everything thats going on in their day just to watch Newcastle United Football Club on match-days. You should watch Goal 2 then, its on youtube too.. but since you're clearly American you should watch Welcome to Wrexham too.. it here on youtube and it just came out.. Its got Ryan Reynolds, its 2 weeks old and its more a documentary than a movie.. Maybe some day the name of this sport will stick in your mind..

I watched this movie with my grandmother as a 10-11 year old kid and she gave up so much of her time for me taking me to all my traveling games and being my number 1 supporter. My grandpa passed when i was 10 and i believed her taking me to those games and watching me helped her cope and keep her mind off of the negative. She adored this movie because she said it reminded her of me. This movie also inspired me to never give up. And that grandma always has your back ;)
