पुराने समय में टी. व्ही. पे सिर्फ दो चैनल थे, पर हजारों पे भारी थे, काफी बढ़िया कार्यक्रम हुआ करते थे, जैसे फुल खिले हैं, आरोही, परिक्रमा, मराठी में प्रतिभा आणी प्रतिमा, गजरा, गुजराती में आवो मारी साथे आदि इन कार्यक्रमों की राह हम साप्ताहिकी में झलक देखकर हप्ताभर देखते रहते थे। आज हजारों चैनल हो गये हैं फिर भी उन दो चैनलों की सर नहीं।
