No, that’s MEN. You see, without being misogynistic-most women think differently than most men, and when emotions are high, they tend to act only on those emotions. A man will usually be emotional, but still have his logical reasoning still working behind the scenes. The default for men is usually protect the family.

@diversetribe231 I disagree....because when men are mad,they are ÜBER PETTY. A woman will feel sorry first...and do what it takes for others even to the detriment of herself.

We’ve been married almost 10 years and don’t have any of these kind of stories. Hearing all of them tell their stories about marriage makes me extremely grateful for the best partner I could have ever chosen in this life. We have disagreements, but they are resolved within hours, not days.

These people have been together since highschool. Both couples. I'm sorry, but your 10 years doesn't exactly share the the experience and time they've had. I'm glad you're as happy and content as you are, but just know that your chapter of marriage is still technically in the beginning stages compared to theirs. Shoot Tab and chance been together since 8th grade, and Kev and Liss since early highschool if I'm not mistaken.

@@SwissMissss It's actually proven that couples who get together younger typically have more drama and a higher risk of divorce. So actually, waiting until after high school to meet your partner probably means you will have a more stable marriage. Some people just have more stable relationships than others and that's okay.
@blackscreenrelaxation5824

@@user-kp7bi1ug9e Thank you for pointing this out. It’s disappointing that someone expressing gratefulness at a peaceful marriage is met with ‘well, just you wait’, and indirectly told that their experience is less valid because they haven’t been together for as long. I pray that she experiences another 10 years of peaceful marriage.

This is real talk! Sometimes we aren’t on the same page, same chapter or even in the same book during marriage. I almost gave up bc my husband and I stopped liking each other. Just walking around the house would get on our nerves. I would be like, “ugh”, every time I saw him. Now, we are stronger than ever and almost 20 years married! Keep God first! When you know you are with your person, fight for them!

Now that you asked God, thank Him for honoring your prayer. Pray in the Holy Spirit. God hears our human, but when we allow the Holy Spirit to intercede that’s music to God’s ears. I too prayed this same way when my two children who are now 19 and 20 were little. God always showed up and showed out. Also a single mother who never married. God is intentional in the way He does things.

I actually think the person was trying to relate to you and you sat there as a "believer" and called them bitter instead of clarifying why you said what you said the way you did. They probably just misinterpreted you. I had a fiance who broke my heart and immediately moved on when we were struggling and asked for his ring back. Had another almost fiance that I was trying to build a life with and that had met my entire family use me for things and betrayed me. So it happens a lot and ofcourse it can happen to anybody but Ive seen this with many of my friends. Men seem to move on faster but im aware I dont know the statistics. Gotta stop using God as a weapon and actually encourage folks. It can be traumatizing and have nothing to do with bitterness. Geesh! I actually pray for you to see your wrong!

Having these types of moments does not mean you have a dysfunctional marriage. Some people never have them and good for them. But others do. It’s a part of the process, and it does not speak to the validity of when people got married or even the validity of the two people involved. This is life, and some people just need to hear it.
