Yes but I need those who are different to be gentle and understanding with others who DONT agree with them but who are in no way trying to harm them. I’m getting tired of being bullied by people asking for compassion.

This was *The Message* of the day. No one should live in fear of others because they want to love differently. Love shouldn't hurt & that should be the only rule to love.

I respectfully disagree beloved, that should not be the only rule. Much damage has been done in the world under the guise of "love". There's a difference between what humans call love and what God says love is. One is based on how another makes one feel, the other is offered free of charge. "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins," 1 John 4:10. Humans often mistake need, lust and attraction for love. Which is why so many go from one failed relationship to another, manically trying to find that one person who can "heal them, complete them and make things right". There's only one who fits that description. God's love prompted Him to sacrifice his only son for a world that would ultimately reject Him and choose their own gods above him. And put their own happiness above his commands. But you are right in saying no one should live in fear of others. Christ said, "... do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28. Much better to revere and obey Him than to fear people. Much better to seek His love than the transitory love and affection of people. That is the kind of love that doesn't hurt and is the only love that truly matters.

I believe that even if you don't agree with someone's lifestyle, you can still show love and compassion. You don't necessarily have to "support" (especially if it goes against your own beliefs), but never be hateful, never bash, because we all fall short every single day!!

Tab, I love Gods people no matter who folks are and my life reflects that, however, I believe what the word of God says. Yes we are to Love but you don't celebrate the sin. Please don't conform to what the world is trying to say is ok, when the word is clear. These are the last days and Christ is coming back for His church, so it is up to believers to speak truth in Love and spread the Good news. Compassion is necessary but that does not mean we have to agree and celebrate sin. I don't agree with being mean or disregarding people because that is not showing the Love of Christ. There is a healing of the soul that needs to take place. Coming in agreement with sin is going against God. I Love you and this is not being mean I am concerned about the souls, but if you think I am being mean; that's your business. I am a fan always and I voted for you online for the NAACP award!!

Your right though, our children are only ours to guide as they only need to be shown the direction the parent is trying to lead them in up until the child figures out which direction they are placed in through God's divinity. The lord is so timely. I was struggling with this just yesterday because a friend of mine called me about something I said about a scripture on how we are not the judge God is. Aunty Tab this helped me so much! I’ve been thinking about how I can show compassion to myself and my family members for some drama that we have been dealing with for years. I just want us to move forward towards healings but You reminded me of the key factor which is compassion. I wasn’t including that in my approach to the situation. Thank you

I completely understand where you coming from Ms. Tab. People should be treated with respect hands down that's a basic human right. Where I would draw the line is when aggression and labeling me would come in just from having a DIFFERENT OPINION. As I just said I am all for treating all and any with deep respect and as you said, 'compassion.' Maybe we could include not asking for the honest opinion of others if it's not wanted and just live life.
