Custom SQL enables the user to prepare the charts based on data which we retrieved through SQL queries. Instead of running the the program on entire table we are going to create charts with the selected data through custom sql

I would like to add one more point. Disadvantages : ► Writing custom SQL in tableau will eventually become sub-query section in main SQL Query which is going to be executed.Sub-Queries will take more processing time than normal SQL Query. Advantages : ► For Adhoc purpose ,. we can use custom SQL in Tableau. If it is a recurring task which we have to execute in tableau. better to create a VIEW in SQL SERVER and then import to Tableau. Thank You

Ok, not sure of the value if you cannot do multi-table inner joins in the custom sql! CAN'T Tableau handle multi join sql queries?

Thanks for watching this video and for your valuable comment dear, as i recorded this video through MIKE, which is little bit far from my mouth, Hence audio not recorded properly. In addition to this it was recorded external FAN buzz sound also. Currently i am in the process to purchase new headphone set to record voice properly.
