We also go over 3 different grip setups that you can use based off of what you want and what your opponent wants to improve your chances in the match. After watching this so much clicked watching guys battle in the setup. You often hear about blah blah match takes so long to start blah blah. But if you truly know what is going on it's a total different perspective.

Thanks for the video! Some clarification’s required. 1st setup, when you put your index finger lower, doesn’t it interrupt your fingers (mostly top ones) from attacking range of motion?

The purpose of doubling up your index finger on the middle finger is to maximize your control of your opponent’s top knuckle

You're pulled out of your lane and they likely achieve their toproll. You'll have to drag back and down to cement your hook and take away their height.
