reminds me of when my older brother and I were trying to beat Tabuu on the hardest difficulty for weeks and we finally got it when he clutched with the last stock and got him with the trophy coin. we didnt even know it was possible to capture him and somehow did it on the hardest difficulty

For the trophy coin to work, the bosses HP needs to be down to like 10% or so...

@@somedude4563 idk where you got that info but it was less than a minute into the fight and Tabuu had only taken less than 4% damage

I'm guessing it depends on what difficulty setting you're on, whether or not it works at max HP.

There's actually a really interesting interaction with Pokemon Trainer in this fight. I didn't know that the dodge or shield existed when I first fought him, but I did know that switching pokemon put you in the pokeball for an extended period of time. Turns out you can dodge the wing attack with Pokemon Trainer down-B. The interesting mechanic isn't that you can dodge it, though-- it's that you can only dodge it once. If you try to do it a second time, Tabuu will actually delay the second and third wing attack specifically to catch Pokemon Trainer down-B.

Rejecting childness is the exact opposite of maturity, though. You can be a mature adult and still unashamedly love Pokemon or other "childish" things. I'm not sure where this problematic idea came from, but being mature doesn't mean that you're no longer allowed to enjoy anything or have an imagination.

If anything, this is immature, a desperate attempt at maturity that only in the end fails. Maturity is often seen, especially from a child’s perspective, as being serious, tough, and sometimes emotionless, rather than what it truly is. Acceptance, open-mindedness, and being unswayed by others, being brave to be *you* are all traits of someone who is mature. But what a child sees, trying to reach their perception of adulthood, is this toxic mindset that one has to reject their “childish” interests, and to cast away these characters that were once role models. Much like Tabuu does, locking away the fighters, brushing them off as trophies of the past.

@@Xetorikal took me a few days, honestly. All those Bowser logos on the map? They're all bosses that MUST be defeated. You have to beat all of them before going back to the center of the map and going to fight Tabuu.

The context of fighting him is the most epic. I think Galeem and Dharkon is the coolest, especially if we think of it in the context of Lifelight. The Lords boss battle is also a marathon and generally harder.

Master and Crazy hand *aren't* the bad guys though. They fight with their trophies for fun, never using their true power, but are fully willing to protect them when necessary.

Man, so did I. I got so hyped up thinking they were going to put the coolest character in as the final fighter... and then they reveal Sora. Oh well, I'm sure he still made a lot of people happy.

Probably not gameplay wise. But the cutscenes made playing it worth it just to see how the story plays out. Seeing all of the characters from Brawl interact with one another in the story was the highlight of that entire mode.

I wouldn't mind waiting 10 more years for another smash game if we got an overhaul of subspace with ultimates roster The Ridley boss fights would be even cooler because you could unlock him after beating meta Ridley King K Rool could be another supporting villain Sephiroth vs Tabuu would be awesome Steve vs Tabuu would be completely unfair for obvious reasons It'd be cool to see beast ganon in subspace too

I'm gonna say Meta Ridley's trophy was harder to get both for the long way you need to take before being able to battle him and also for the time limit and the fact he is always on the edge of the screen.

Steve being that broken it's literally the craziest way to think about a character who can defeat Tabuu without any problem. This is even beyond what Tabuu Is. Steve is a Step ahead of him.

It's because Tabuu has a Character of HORROR. A kind of Powerful inhuman. Ultimate Bosses are like Gods entities, but Tabuu goes beyond it.

Bruh fr, i beat those 2 second try while i NEVER beat tabuu legit, granted its been a while since ive battled tabuu, i gotta get my hands on the game
