I just wanted another video of a van being detailed that was so much dirtier, it made this car look clean. Anyway, I'm figuring the guy in this video is Scottish, the guy in the other video was some kind of British but just generally those are the perfect type accents to narrate a vid about a disgusting vehicle.

Found myself clicking on this video this morning out of boredom and now a couple hours later I've fully cleaned the upholstery in my second hand 2004 Civic I've owned for 6 months. I've tried a few things on the seats (few nasty stains in the back) but nothing worked as well as all-purpose cleaner, agitate, wipe, vacuum. Seems like I've finally got them out so thank you!

my car (2011 Mazda 3) wasn’t expensive and it’s nothing fancy but goddamn I do my very best to keep it nice and clean. most people are really surprised it’s 8 years old because the inside is still like new (save wear and tear on the steering wheel). it pains me to see people not take care of their vehicles 😣

clean interior is the most important part of the car to keep clean. it's what you look at most of the time. it's what you touch and feel all the time. interior cleanliness is always neglected but it's part everyone sits in the most. I don't understand why people can't keep their interior clean (or if they can't hire someone to clean it for them). exterior is not as important. it's exposed to the elements. the exterior will get dirty as soon as it rains or you drive through a construction zone. interior will stay as clean as you.

@@MJubeily yes 15 years I was a detailer but 9 months ago I changed to a propper career as I was employed at a local car dealership and didn't pay me great money and I have a family to support. I still do private jobs for people from home and I still enjoy it. When doing a full detail from home I can earn £200 for a days work but when I was employed it was no way near that. I would say I'm the 15 years i was a detailer i gained great experience and was good at what I did. Nothing more satisfying then having a filthy car looking good 👍

You’re right. I have a Focus MK2.5 with the same carpets. As much as I am a bit disappointed and almost offended to hear about the ‘poverty spec’ carpets and plastic, I will admit they are tricky to clean. Other than that it’s a really good car.

Someone told me that manual windows are put in the back as a safety measure because it is too easy for young kids to push the electric buttons and open the windows.

@Chris L I've never seen these on any new cars but hey what do I know. As for their reliability, I've never seen one fail, and having used both I think the slight drop in reliability and greater convenience is far worth it. Especially when all you have to do is essentially press a button.

I always watch these super late at night, thinking I’m going to wake up that weekend and detail my own car. For some reason the latter never happens, but the former is becoming part of my nightly routine 😂

One of the few joys I have in life is letting the inside of my car get dirty and then cleaning it. It’s so satisfying. And as such I have a minivan. It takes me all day to vacuum and then clean the windows and doors.
