Nothing like that centrifugal clutch "chatter" on a mini bike engine. A sound I remember from the 70s!

Yeah that sound does bring back memories!

I live in the city so I can't have one, but my friend does and some other kids have those coleman ones and they always complain about getting pulled over. Jokes on them, I have a real motorcycle

How do u tell if u have a old modle taco or a reproduction taco ???
@mayerbrothers5 жыл бұрын
Normally an original Taco has the correct frame number stamped on it. If it is a reproduction one of the easiest ways to spot it is if the rear frame tubes that mount to the upper frame and the front tubes that mount to the neck are just round tubes welded together. The original tubes are flat tubes welded to the frame (not round). A good website for more info is steenstacominibikes.com. They have an abundance of information! A Taco 22? It has 44 handle bars. 22 bikes had no springs. Is my memory correct?
@chadwhitenight54953 жыл бұрын
Incorrect, the Taco 22 did come with front suspension, similar to a 44.
@markhale80842 жыл бұрын
Memory incorrect. Both my 67 and 68 Taco 22s have springs, low mount down on knuckle at front axle and the 67 is an unrestored survivor. The Frijole had no springs on fork.

Tacos had briggs engines ...this appears to be a tecumseh ...no?
@mayerbrothers6 жыл бұрын
Yes it is a Tecumseh. It came with Briggs, Tecumseh and other engines as well.
@charlesaguilar17085 жыл бұрын
I prefer a BRIGGS motor because when I raced go-karts, (Stock to Open class) I blue-printed all my motors and know it well! My "limited modified" motor spun to almost 10 grand!!

@@charlesaguilar1708 idk star Tecumseh race engine was the fastest it was even outlawed in alot of events after they seen I was killing everything on the track
