On this hot afternoon I review the new Double Chalupa from Taco Bell. Because I am such a renegade, I wore a black cardigan sweater, white short sleeve dress shirt, a very nice white pattern tie which I received as a present and black dress pants.

New Double Chalupa Arrives at Taco Bell
Taco Bell introduces the new Double Chalupa as their latest limited-time offer.
Reminiscent of the XXL Chalupa launched back in 2010, the Double Chalupa features an oversized Chalupa shell filled with a double portion of seasoned ground beef (versus a regular Chalupa), shredded lettuce, diced tomato, reduced-fat sour cream, warm nacho cheese sauce, and shredded three cheese blend. There's also a spicy version that throws on some jalapenos.
You can find both the Double Chalupa and the Spicy Double Chalupa for $3.49 a piece at Taco Bell restaurants nationwide through the end of July.
You can also get either version as part of a Big Box along with a Doritos Locos Tacos, a crunchy taco, and a medium fountain drink for $5.

A Chalupa (in Basque: Txalupa) is a smallboat that functions as a shallop, water taxi orgondola, such as those seen at the "floating gardens" of Xochimilco south of Mexico City, Mexico. Chalupa is also the name of the type of whaling boat used by the Basques in the mid-16th century in what is now Newfoundland and Labrador.

OMG I'm totally eating a double chalupa while I watch this..NOT PLANNED!!! I actually bought 2 of these, one normal double chalupa at $3.49 and one spicy double chalupa at $4. With that said, this is the 2nd time I try these. The first time (last week) they came in the "trough" you show here...today they just came in a wrapper and they were much softer. Kinda disappointing this time around, but still good. Just more of a soft crepe consistency today. Thanks for the review!!! Digging your channel!
