I was born August of 1995 in Ohio. I now live in North Carolina. I am a mechanical engineering for a tire company and I have been a professional open-format club / mobile DJ since 2012. Thank you for showing how to snake the wire through like that. It was killing me to have to pinch a wire. I was sitting there contemplating on cutting the box and going all crazy but your method is golden and save a lot of time

I used lasfit LD series for my fogs. Looks good on the tacoma. White for pure dark nights, and amber for heavy fog, or rainy nights.

@@TacoRick ig you can say that. Their bright and works great. Everyone is always suprise how my fogs changes color.🤣 not as good as diode dynamics ss3. But they work great for stock

I added raptor lights. I found out the fuse in the box is for the DRL relay, not the DRL lamps themselves. If you want them to operate like your DRLs, you have to wire into the harness like he is doing.

You can do this without splicing into the headlight wire by going to the headlight fuse. Don't mess with your warranty!

Hello ! I have the same rough country lift on my 2019 tacoma , I was wondering when should i check the lift maintance ? also can you do a video how to check the bolts and on the lift, Sorry If I sound a little confusing. THank you :D

Its been a minute but it says in the instructions. 50 mile 500 miles and then every 5k if I remember right. I check every 5k now when I rotate tires

@@TacoRick Rick so the red wire on the raptor lights is the power wire - you tapped this red wire to the DRL orange wire for power and black to ground? I also want to run the raptor lights with the DRL not headlights.

Have you run into any problems with this setup? I also want to run the lights with the DRLs. Also when you lock/unlock, do the light blink along with the headlights?

No problems other than those Amazon lights crapping out. Not sure if they blink

Yep! Check the video out that i did on the pro grill swap. The sensor takes a little fine tunning to get it working just right but no issues since. 7 months later

So i just had a minor freakout after watching this video solely based on the fact that you said 6 clips to remove the grill instead of just 2 at the top. This is because I just installed new headlights from tacomabeast a few days ago and knew I didn't remove the four at the bottom like I did the last time when i swapped to the pro grill. So obviously I ran out to my truck and removed the grill again to see if I broke the 4 clips and found that they don't go into the grill portion whatsoever. I'm somewhat new to the taco scene as i bought a 19' last year. So this had me wondering if the oem pro grill or past/future year models did use these 4 clips? I have to ask because just about every taco youtuber says the same thing to remove the 4 at the bottom. Am I missing something?

The 4 bottom ones were there in my 2018 and my 2020 from the factory. Never could get the grill off without removing them

Which grill? They make ones for the honeycomb looking one.

@@TacoRick yeah, my Taco has the one that looks like a honeycomb, so I don't know if those raptor lights will fit into that grill.

My add a fuse kit came with a 25 in it. Can I still add the 10 to it?

Yeah. You can combine just about any size the big is to make sure you use the same as the one you are replacing in the bottom slot

Mostly for aesthetics but Ford Raptors have them because they are very wide vehicles and they need them to be seen at night

When you wire them into DRL are they on during night time when you’re running headlights only? Or are they only on when you’re running lights are on?

Dude you can't have red lights in your drl's that's illegal red is for the rear only
