Man I still remember the day my dad introduced me to this game.. It was 2002 and I was 4 years old. My dad came home from work and he told me he bought a game. He installed it, and the game shocked me how good it was. It was my first encounter with pc and games. As a kid I remember playing this 24/7. Constantly. I miss those times so much.

@@Milton_Waddams. Deep memories buddy. Whenever I remember playing this game and other childhood moments it hits me pretty hard. Best and sad feelings ever because it's so nostalgic. You could visualize the passion and fun we were having back then. Even the world was way different than nowadays, social constructs were different, societies were different as well. It was the best era in everything and I'm glad I experienced it as fully as I can Sports, Games, Showbiz you name it.

I got this game for Christmas about 20 years ago. It became a tradition for me to play it every year on Christmas from that point on. At that time i was taking turn to play with my brother, now i´m taking turns to play with my daughter. This game never lost it´s charm.

Rapid waters was my favorite map. It was a small and simple map but you could still have so much fun, especially with grenades throwing them from the water into the terrorist base for example. And running or swimming around with hostages always gets your heart rate up :D

I never get tired of the music at the beginning😁 . I played a lot with boris and nikita and always wanted to walk like they do in the base lol. When I discovered the multiplayer function it got more better !

I still remember playing this with my homie on an old Windows PC when we where just 7. I was always so excited to visit my friend to play this for hours. I remember arguing after one of us died unlegit and didnt want to let the other one play. Good old times.

Your Clan name sounds very familiar. We 2 had several servers up, my brother worked for an ISP back then. We had a few 'TacOps' & 'Unreal' & 'UT' Servers too! Did U guys play Unreal and/or Unreal Tournament as well? Or am I thinking of a different Clan? Those were the days...:(

I'm not sure if you still monitor these comments, but I've been trying to get this game to work, but it seems to run in fast forward for me. I'm sure this has to do with the framerate, but I can't find a way to limit it. I have an AMD card, and I'm telling AMD Adrenalin to limit it, but it doesn't seem to change. Do you have any suggestions for this?

Counter-Strike had its golden years between 2000-2010 and simply overshadowed all competition. Tactical Ops was something that you played between your PCW's for fun :)
