Everytime I saw the footages near your stair or upper level, I thought you will yeet the board. Lol

I like your channel because it feels so homegrown and normal. Watching other reviewers, I feel like I'm in a totally different realm than them, with your videos it feels relatable and more true to the average person's experience. Keep it up!

My first mech keyboard from 3 years ago. For the value, it was great! Too bad the stabilizers weren't lubed when I bought it prebuilt.

I'm so glad I built my first with a poly carbonate plate and the budget wood case. It sounds so much better to me than this hollow effect. But the price of this diy beats mine by so much lmao

well that's a bummer.. i have two alu tada's and one spare pcb because i really like the tada68 with high profile case and bought extra sets of these key caps.. But to be honest i have not noticed the issues associated with north facing led's i use yellow milky gateron lubed. and one has T1 switches..that one is more harsh..Am i just not refined enough ??? i also have two NK65 .. i kind of like the tada68 layout so when i heard about the NK65 i jumped on it. also have a Tofu65..

They can make Tada v2 with south facing pcb, type-c port and more color options for the alu case and it will still be viable. Some may argue that my idea is equivalent to the kbd67, but I don't like having the aesthetic gap separating the arrow keys as much as having full 1u keys for the bottom row, plus you need a case (still kbd67) that actually have the blocker.

The aluminum-cased Tada68 was one of my first "custom" keyboards after I bought my Pok3r, it was pretty nice but the steel plate was too harsh for my tastes. I ended up selling it eventually, but it was a good stepping stone to greater things.

Managed to brick my saber68 by trying to reprogram it on macOS. In the end I had to reflash the board firmware using a raspberry pi and avrdude. After all that, I came to really dislike the board, but as my first mech it definitely served as a great point of entry while also giving me some dank keycaps and mod switches.

My sole issue with the Tada is the north facing pcb. other than that i like the board as a whole i think its a great budget option despite being tray mount.

I think a great alternative would be the Keydous NJ68: -65% -Bluetooth -Hotswap -PBT Keycaps -Type-C Cable

i find it really weird though, cuz i have a tada68 alu case with stock gat reds and the home row feels really stiff but all the other rows feel really soft. especially the qwerty row
@jyudat44334 жыл бұрын
oh shit. its totally because the switches face the wrong way
@whatisbracking94024 жыл бұрын
3:05 Second this. I own a tada68 and the QWER and ASDF rows have a really high pitched tick sound instead of a thock or clack. Would recommend using a different PCB if you care that much about the sound of your switches.
@samdeur4 жыл бұрын
what switch do you use? i have two tada's and did not notice this .. sure now that he mentioned it i started thinking ...i should have noticed this ...perhaps i'm not refined enough ..
@whatisbracking94024 жыл бұрын
@@samdeur im using gateron yellows. you can always try rotating your keycaps upside down to compare the difference in sound. it's such a nitpicky aspect of the board tho so if you didn't even notice it thats great for you haha

Nice video.. About that womier k66 you mentioned, it's hard building a keyboard now that beats it in price. We got a discord server dedicated to the womier k66, if anyone is interested in finding out more about it, you're welcome to join: discord.gg/e7X6pgQ

@JYMV3 жыл бұрын
I believe the 3068 is in some way closely related to the tada. I think taekeyboards did a video on it. It might have been identical to the tada68 pro?
