Taemin is my absolute top favorite soloist in Kpop, his artistry is just unmatched! I’m floored with his vocals and everything about Guilty! Both the song and the album are fire!!!!!

Taemin is Taemin. The man is a chameleon. You transform yourself but remain true to you every era. This is relaxed for him even though it's intense... this is a appetizer. SM builds Entertainers, not performers. Taemin will always entertain you.

The music video and the song's lyrics actually have a double meaning, Taemin tries to say (or express) what the depression and anxiety caused by his time in the mandatory army caused him. He shows in gestures and in frames that he shows this and at the same time that he tries to tell us this, he camouflages this report with his hypnotic dancing skills to somehow mislead the Korean media.

Taemin is seriously ill! He can do anything and everything to you, it's so perfect! This guy is perfection personified! A real beauty Taemin! When I see him in Shinee, I still consider him the baby of the group but when he sings alone, I tell myself that he really is a monster! And he has grown a lot! Frankly, no one surpasses him I think! And I still love it when you say "oh putain" 😂

In a music review interview online, Taemin said that the concept was based upon French philosopher Georges Bataillle's book, "L'erostisme" in which he argues that eroticism is "a psychological quest not alien to death." Taemin is very into philosophy, just like my daughter who is getting a minor in philosophy at college. When I told her this, she immediately researched the book and now has it and several more on her wishlist...lol. She also LOVED this latest gift from Taemin. I haven't really dug deeper into this one yet as I'm just enjoying it immensely right now, but somehow I feel like Taemin is giving us a very real picture of how horrendous his military service was in the very beginning, on top of how the medications made him feel (inhaler), and fighting against himself and his demons to stick through it despite how awful it was. Remember, he never said a word about wanting a transfer. The decision was made for him by military personnel for his well being. That says a lot. Telling this story, if what I am just speculating about is true, may be very cathartic for him. However, this is just the first impression that hit me because it also fits in with the duality of his nature that we've seen before.

You are each and everyone of us who was attacked so hard by this video. My fav reaction from this almost 16 min video that I will need to finish after class “Taemin’s him. Taemin’s that guy.” And you hadnt even gotten to the first chorus yet. 😂 But that second chorus, that skirt, those abs. I’m dead yo. I will not make it through this comeback or his concerts. 😂 I’m at work trying not to burst out laughing while watching this. I love your reactions!

What I love most is that Shinee is in their 30s and instead of mostly retiring like most kpop groups at that age (ans which would be especially understandable after what Shinee went through) Shinee is all like "Nah! You know what? We're just getting started! We're still evolving!" 💕

Taemin has talked about the literature that inspired this concept: Erotism: Death and Sensuality by Georges Bataille and Demian by Hermann Hesse. Love that Taemin decided to do things his own way with his own colors. I don't see anyone else doing this concept, or even the way in which he does it. Just stunning! Great reaction,
