I don't think underrated, just underappreciated. Taemin has top 3 mixed voice in kpop. Which easily puts him as one of the best vocalists in kpop, he has the strongest mixed voice in shinee and kpop after Kyuhyun, Sandeul.

As a pianist, I can say that it takes a great deal of cognitive ability to play from memory WHILE SINGING. Taemin baby, don’t feel embarrassed at all by your extraordinary talent! You never cease to amaze us!

Taemin's little cute mistakes actually made the performance even flawless and raw. It's amazing! His voice is a musical instrument in itself. One of the best vocalists out there in the industry.

he is amazing! and he was chosen through his dance his vocal skills were developed with effort and hard work there are still people who belittle him saying that others like (baekhyun, jonghyun etc are better than him) taemin is not a born vocalist, everything what he is now it's because of his effort and for never giving up

We should appreciate these performances even more, because it's pretty hard to sing and play at the same time, especially a song he apparently doesn't play/sing all the time. And to still sing with such quality? I swear I don't see the difference between his voice recorded in the studio and live. We talk a lot about how Taemin is the best dancer in K-pop (and he is), but he deserves more recognition for his singing too. He is such a great singer! Also, couldn't agree more with them, he is just too cute!

Came back because I fuckin miss him SO MUCH😭😭😭God I just can't used to this yk, like he was there when I started my kpop journey as a fan a decade ago. Ten years for ten years he was constantly one of my biggest emotional support human and now all of a sudden he's gone. This past decade was more of downs and downs for me as compared to a few ups and Taem was always there during those times. I was so used to Taemin here Taemin there and now Taemin nowhere just makes me feel so so empty! I miss you Taem, come back soon🥺
