This video makes me really want someone with light, delicate fingers to gently pat cooling creams and gels all over my face, for hours. I think when we put our make up on or attend to skincare routines, a lot of us would be guilty of being too rough and vigorous with the skin on our face. Be it time constraints, uncooperative product or whatever, we're probably over scrubbing, pulling, rubbing our faces, making our skin dry or oily and generally problematic. These videos are a nice reminder to be a little more light handed.

instead of complaining about the model's good skin, i think people should strive for almost perfect skin before prep and then copy this style. work on yourself, don't complain!

I like the end result but the steps is a bit too much I guess, I mean you can skip the "cream" shiny base part and go straight using a mixture of bb cream and soothing balm to create this glowy look, or just using the balm to the high planes of the face to avoid overly greasy look all over face. anyway it's just my opinion, but I guess every make up artist has their own style tho'. so still thumbs up ^^

First aplly your makeup base/primer, then take a orange/salmon color concealer and apply it to the upper lip area to contrast the dark color, blend well and finally apply your fundation/BB cream :)

What issue do you have with the upper lip? Is it darkness caused by hair on the upper lip or is it just dark around your mouth naturally? Maybe I can help

Of course you don't do this every day; take for example, the Shu Uemura Stage Performer Magic Glow Cream- just the name suggests, it's a product suited for stage performers, because of the harsh lighting, etc. You won't need something like that for everyday use, so just watch this video then pick and choose what you think you'd need :)

***** It could also just be genetic. My dark circles and bags are inherited from my dad's side of the family, and don't go away no matter how much sleep I get or water I drink. Skincare and makeup can't fix genetics :(

If you don't mess up your skin in the first place, it's not hard to maintain good skin. Just eat well, wear sunblock, and moisturize.

you can always use etude house nymph volumer when you do your makeup (: it helps to create a dewy look! just mix some into your foundation, ratio of 2:1; 2 being foundation/bb cream and 1 pump of volumer

@nwyrsbaby You don't have to do much to get good skin. A lot of Koreans have naturally beautiful skin because they eat well and take care of it. Just don't mess it up in the first place and you can easily maintain good skin. Koreans have that edge because they are groomed to take care of themselves and how they look by their mothers from an early age. They don't lay out in the sun all day.
