Taeyang and Lisa go way back. He was there at her audition. She, at 14 in a foreign country on her own not knowing the language, impressed him even back then and he said she was going to dominate the industry. Taeyang is one of the reasons Lisa wanted to be a KPop idol, she had been a fan of his since she was little. He was one of her mentors while she was a trainee. Taeyang said no one else but Lisa could have done Shoong with him and that he is thankful she accepted. He is very proud of her success.

Lisa was in the Ringa Linga MV. She was one of the dancers in the background. This was during Lisa’s trainee days. They really go a long way back (he was even in the Bangkok YG auditions where Lisa was the only one selected out of 4k hopefuls). The dancers for Shoong were a mix of the best dancers in the kpop industry-the Kwon twins and Leejung (from YGX), Noze, Just Jerk, and others. This was really a dance masterpiece and showcase.

I just think this pairing was something no one could have imagined but it was at the same time a long time coming you know what I mean? Lisa was a back up dancer in taeyang’s ringa linga back in 2013 when she was a trainee and loon at where we are ten years later. And watching them dance together is so visually pleasing, no one is overpowering anyone

I listened to the song for Lisa at first (and she came to play with her verse for sure. Even with cleaner lyrics, I'd love to hear her with more of this flow in BP songs when we get a cb in 5 years🥲) but now this song is in my favs and I might have to get more into Taeyang😭❤️

FYI, the dancers in Shoong Performance Video and this Dance Practice Video are not just "typical dancers that management provide for artists promo". They are professional dancers, each from well known dance crew on their own such as YGX, JUST JERK, MBITIOUS, WAYB. You'll find out more if you search Street Woman Fighter and Street Man Fighter. Those are survival show for established dance crews. Taeyang especially choose them to work with for this song project. That's why the movement from the dancers itself are awesome. Another trivia, Just Jerk is a world champ crew that also performed at the opening of last Pyeongchang Winter Olympics😁

@@chateaumangaroo8088 Oh the official video of the dancers reaction? No, the Kwon twins are in it too. The ones who weren't present are Hyunse (YGX crew) and Wootae (Mbitious crew) 😅 But you're right, it's great. In the video we got to know that the Just Jerk crew Leader and Vice Leader are big fans of Taeyang since they were young and still amateur dancers. They literally keep asking Kwon twins during SMF concert if there's an opportunity to work with Taeyang project 😂

it's Taeyang, ofc he knows what he is doing haha and LISA should have a song that really showcase her voice cos she sounds so good here. Thanks to Taeyang for having Lisa here cos we saw another side of Lisa. Their energy def.matched! And THE BLACKLABEL is a sub-label of YG owned by Teddy the main producer of BLACKPINK who is also a long time friend of BIGBANG. The old YG building(the one that looks like a giant slide is now the office of the blacklabel). In Taeyang's Ringa Linga vid (not the black and white vid you showed), Lisa was one of the back up dancers along some other trainees at that time (ikon & winner).

Shoong is right up my alley, but I really love this choreo specifically. Some of my favorite dancers were featured in this too. The dancer you pointed out is Deukie. He and his twin brother, Dony, specifically chose these dancers for this choreo. You've likely seen the Kwon Twins in a bunch of YG videos because they've been with the company forever. Apparently, Bailey Sok choreographed. EDIT: Correctly attributed choreographer, Bailey Sok. Let me become more fluent in Korean, because these translations got me out here looking like a fool lolol We respect hardworking women.

Not me thinking about that Future meme “Sensational” 💀 When you’re a 2nd gen AND a Taeyang stan, I’m not surprised why CeeCee is very critical (because I too am a Taeyang and 2nd gen stan lolllll)! To add to the Ringa Linga one shot practice, he just learned the choreo at the time and literally flew here in LA to learn (s/o to Parris Goebel) it.

The Black Label is longtime YG producer Teddy Park's label and it's a sub-label to YG. YGE moved into their new building right before the pandemic and The Black Label took over the old building and utilizes the classic YG dance studio. So when Taeyang signed with TBL he just moved next door.

He is still the best at what he does. He is the OG if it. So why wouldn't he be. He is his own swag. The Black Label is a subsidiary of YG. Its run by Teddy who produces all the Blackpink songs etc..... GD is still with YG. Taeyang knows who he is and what suits him. Ballads, RnB, Soul and more. 😍😍😍 Lisa is Lisa - what can I say she also has her own swag and YG do not put out sub Artists. If you have been watching the Baby monster show you will know what I mean. We are so glad he is back with us. I am a Big Bang fan - old school. Love them all

Amazing song,This song and this collaboration is very iconic and special!And I'm in love with this collaboration! Everything is great, both the MV and the styles and the Taeyang's vocal and Lisa's rap! And also their dance is very strong and special! The main dancer of Big Bang and the main dancer of Blackpink! My boy is so loyal- he STAYED at the old YGE building by signing with Blacklabel- at the time Teddy Park ( BP main producer) was the majority shareholder

AFAIK, Teddy is still the largest shareholder. YG is the next largest. Technically this means that TBL is not a subsidiary of YG, but rather is a corporate affiliate. Teddy seems to be following a similar template to Yang Hyun Suk. Yang Hyun Suk is still the ultimate top boss of YG Entertainment (always has been). But in order to focus more on the executive producer/group creation business that he likes, he appointed his brother to take on the formal CEO duties (and following the scandals a few years back, appointed a long-time friend and employee to take on the CEO spot). Teddy has done something similar at TBL, appointing someone else (a trusted friend) to be CEO. People who don't understand corporations often get confused and think that the CEO is the top boss, when actually the CEO is an employee hired by the owners of the company. In both cases, the ultimate top boss is Teddy (at TBL) and Yang Hyun Suk (at YGE). The CEOs are there to handle a lot of the paperwork and tedious management work. But they still have to answer to their bosses.

Okay so THE BLACK LABEL is indeed a subsidiary label of YG entertainment. The CEO of that label is well known and respected former YGE producer TEDDY PARK. Yes TEDDY, the same guy who produced hit songs for BIG BANG, 2NE1, and BLACKPINK. The artists that are under THE BLACK LABEL is SOMI, ZION T, Loren, Vince, and Bryan Cha$e (who recently collaborated with Taeyang ).

TBL is basically YG sub-label. Basically, a way to retain Teddy within the umbrella. I think there are rumours BP may be moved there?

@@SaGeForReal Yeah. Teddy is the founder and owns the largest block of shares. YG owns another large block of shares in it (probably the second biggest block). I think the BP members have already renewed with YG (and they're currently YG's biggest source of revenue). A lot of people mistakenly think that their contract period ends in August. But that's only because August 2016 was when their debut songs were released. I'm quite sure that their contract with YG started at least many months before the songs were actually released.

Yes GD is still with YG. Also Taeyang too as The Black Label is a subsidiary of YG. But really if Big Bang do drop another song its just a matter of each deciding who gets paid what together.

Technically speaking, TBL is not a subsidiary. It's an affiliate (affiliated corporation). Teddy is the largest shareholder. YG is the next largest shareholder. YG by itself does not have share voting control over TBL, so it's not a parent-subsidiary relationship. But they are of course very closely affiliated.

Love this song! I saw this one on my own so I can’t blame you for it, I guess 😒😏. But, while I like Lisa’s part in the song and video, there are times when she’s connecting too much with the camera and not with Taeyang. She did better with that in the dance practice imo. And the dancer u thought was someone else, is actually one of Chris Brown’s main dancers and choreographer. He has crazy long hair now but u may have recognized him from one CB’s vids or one his own. His name is Fefe.
