I'm not Gambian but I certainly appreciate the ministers last point. I hopes he's successful achieving all his missions but contracting Gambians to build Gambia's infrastructure and keeping that money in the country is vitally important.

It's so good to have all this information, of all the new initiative's that taking place in the Gambia, I've friends that's been there and love the Gambia, but have also said it's not that developed, so for me seeing all the changes is exciting, I hope to be there soon.

I love the emphasis on local capacity building through equipment leasing, heavy financing and human resources. Local Gambians can do what the outsiders are doing, the desire is there and government is placing emphasis on local capacity building. Its only a matter of time before 85% of the construction work is done by local contractors.

This minister's last words are very important I think Gambian youths have to pick up skills or The Gambia government should invest heavily on youths on the side of skill labor. With all due respect skills is lacking among Gambian youths, and as a result that vacuum is being occupied by foreigners, and that's a big concern in the future
