@@What-he5prUS ads targeting LGBTQ+ despite them being like 2% of the population max shows that they’re getting desperate. look how soldiers were used as pawns, in iraq to capture their oil, in vietnam to tell them which system they democratically have to agree upon and in Afghanistan after the Mujahadeen Jihadists were armed by the CIA, the new Jihadists nothing was done against them effectively that lasted (also look at pics of Afghan women from the 1950s, they were actually free to dress how they want and be in public without a man, but like ofc that was bad because the soviets assisted the government that allowed that to happen). now people don’t want to die for that, and realistically, no power can gain anything from invading and occupying, or trying to, a country with more guns than people, material loss, financial loss in terms of trainings cost, and public backlash from the received backlash would be higher than anything that could be gained from the only moderately resource-rich US being occupied and looted, which is apparently what defense in its original sense was supposed to protect against. the US could cut back 90% of their military spending and china wouldn’t have a chance of invading them still, while russia has the budget of two random european NATO countries, like UK and germany are 110mio, while russia has 80. budget isn’t all, but russia with their bad infrastructure will never have the capacity to seriously militarily damage the US for a profit off their own in the next decades
