I seem to always choose similar colours in different shades, mixing darks with lights, so this was very good to watch!

I wanted to try art journaling so I watched some very high-level artists on YT, tried out some techniques and got overwhelmed (but underwhelmed with the results). Your tag series has made me feel like I can try again without the former chaos. At the very least I’ll end up with a collection of pretty cards 😂! Thank you so much for your generosity!

Thank you so much for explaining the proportions that work well between the background and the contrasting colour! I think I end up using too much of the contrast colour a lot of the time. I’m gonna try dialing it back
