My favorite thing about tagima in relation to fender isn't just the tone being good or the guitars being more affordable, i like that they offer a feel that doesn't try to copy fender's

I dig the headstock shape on the Tagima - finally somebody got it right. Sure I'm used to the Fender shaped headstock, but the Tagima is more aesthetically pleasing to me, not that it's the most important thing, but looks matter! I fall in love with guitars based on their feel, tone, and looks, in that order, but the looks often hook me into trying them. As with a beautiful woman (or man if you're so inclined), their looks are what attract us, then their feel when we get close, finally their sound when we play them. Nothing like a guitar or woman screaming in ecstasy.................>!!

@hslemes
@hslemes Жыл бұрын
@@StayHomeEatGreat Well, 1 year later.... The T530 is not the best option. If price is the same, I would take the Yamanha Pacifica, or Ibanez AZES. But things change when we talk about Tagima T805. It is comparable to the Fender Player model (mexican Fender). I really recommend the T805. Worth it a lot for the price! It's a great guitar. And if you make a few upgrades you'll have a pro guitar for sure. One you can grabe and go on stage.

Ok, so it's like comparing a Chevy to a Cadillac but I think the Tagima held up pretty well. I agree with PJ that the neck pickup sounds really good on the Tagima. For the price the Tagima is good value. As I mentioned before I'd like to see a comparison between an Affinity Strat and the Tagima which is more in the price range than the Fender obviously. Great video. Thanks guys enjoyed it!

Yes! I just bought a 635 and besides the tuners not being the vintage model shown in tagima's website i am very impressed, this guitar is playing smooth and it holds tuning unbelievably well, even using the whammy bar! the original pickups are also nice, i changed to some fender custom shop pickups i had laying around while waiting for another project and the sound is amazing. When i took it apart i found the wire for the bridge pickup was almost falling off, not well soldered at all... but i think this kinds of things can happen with any guitar, i heard of custom shop fender with similar issues out of the shop. For me this is the best guitar you can get in Brasil for the price. I paid 970 reais for mine.

Truffff. I was bummed when found this out but the Woodstock jazzmaster 61 I waited for literally almosted a year to hit only spot near Phoenix that sells the tagimas has literally stayed in tune since I left the store. They were such sweethearts and offered to invite me back in 1 month after going thru the temp and other humidity issues differing from store to my house for a FREE set up. That's killer mom n pop business. If GC was like that I wouldn't just keep trying guitars and going back withing 45 days saying "ugghhh this SG Muse and 100 watt katana just don't sound good with my pedal chain, thought I'd come down try a tube amp for first time and just use all that jazzmaster I have so ALL my focus is on what tube amp I wanna try for 39-40 days and say that "just didn't hit me in the feels, think I need to go the vox direction."

Real off time n jazzy with heavy stoney baloney riffs. Catharsis, converge, facedowninshit, yes, king crimson, Beatles, pup, IDLES IS BEST BAND ON EARTH RIGHT NOW, DESTRUCTION UNIT, gang of four, Dillinger Four are bunch of my favs bands if that helps. Honestly I've wanted to combine like player series mustang with p90s and a ripping 100 watt tweed 2x12 vox. Like if the super beetle wasn't a mini.

@@ToCatchAVein you could give an orange crush pro a shot, you’d have to buy used though since it’s discontinued, or go with the orange supercrush. Those are the best ss amps I’ve heard. Depending on your budget, a devilcat jimmy is a versatile beast of a tube amp. Or the new fender tone master twin reverb, sounds just like the tube version and is a great pedal platform. Vox amps are hit and miss unless you drop good money on old stuff or their higher priced new stuff, most modern ones are very bright and shrill to my ears.

I did like the pickups on the American strat better. Especially at higher gain levels. I guess it depends on how you plan on using it. If it is a main guitar, especially for gigging, it might not be a bad idea. Of course, I have a Tagima Jazzmaster and I love the way the stock pickups sound. That was a great match! Considering the TG-530 is an absolute entry level guitar, marketed towards students, I thought it held up pretty nicely against the mighty Fender. Of course you guys take hundreds of requests every video, but if I may ask one more thing, try out one of the better Tagima S-type guitars! Like the T-805 or the Stella models... Or even the basic T-635 (like, to Tagima, the 635 compares to the 530 the same way Squier Classic Vibe goes against the Affinity series). Maybe one of those could have higher chances taking on top tier guitars!

@lucaslucena6306
@lucaslucena6306 2 жыл бұрын
@@bmcgoo6027 It was not demeaning AT ALL. Trust me, I played several Tagimas and own some. That's just how they're marketed. The TG-530 is a low-cost, entry level aimed towards students and beginers. The T-635 is better constructed, but still reasonably cheap, kind of falls into the "intermediate" guitars. The T-805 is on the higher-end of the Tagima spectrum, better constructed, premium quality and a bit more expensive (but still cheaper than many other brands nonetheless). I'm not saying, by any means, th TG530 is bad. It's just that it would make more sense to compare it to a Squier Bullet, or Affinity, and let the T635 take on the Classic Vibe series.

Harley Benton's fretboard radius is atrocious. 350mm (13.78") on virtually everything really sucks. Then you have to pay $70 for the guitar to make it to the USA. HBs look nice, but the fretboard radius is a deal breaker. Squier Bullets are cheap, the Affinity is better, there is another level and then the Classic Vibe... which runs about twice as much as the Tagima in this video.

So.. not really a comparable choice😂 That’s pretty sad that a higher end Fender would compare to a low end guitar.. Wouldn’t a Fender middle of the road Squire be more close to the Tagima? I love your channel and I am very interested in the Tagima line.. Take care. God bless. I look forward to more videos🤘🏻
@PJandtheBeard
@PJandtheBeard Жыл бұрын
We did this video when we were first starting the channel, so we went with what we had. You are correct though, probably a middle of the road Squier would be a much better choice. In fact, we just got a Squier Jazzmaster in to compare with the Tagima Woodstock Jazzmaster we have. That video should be out soon. Thanks for watching and commenting!

For sure PJ🤘🏻 My problem is I am not sure what Tagima I want, I have watched so many videos on Tagima guitars from the 500, 530, The Grace 700 (which I really like) The T-55 Tele to the Jazz Master and the 635 ( which I also like) I was going to get just a 530🤔 Just not sure? But again thank you for doing the Tagima videos it showed me you don’t always have to spend the bank to get a nice guitar🤘🏻 Maybe you could do a video that compares the 500, 530, and the 635?? God bless🤗

Is there a reason that you mentioned that "the necks feel different"... and then you didn't say what you meant?
