I love both the Korean and Japanese versions. BTS really do make something for everyone. Something for every mood! JHope has a solo song called Airplane and the lyrics in the section where he dances on the bar are in his solo song. There is a video for this so worth a watch. The BEST live performance of this track is at the 2018 MAMA awards in Hong Kong. You could watch just that one section or, even better, react to the whole MAMA 2018 performance!💜

I prefer the original Korean version myself I think it just flows better since it was written in Korean while the Japanese version was translated from Korean. -Airplane pt. 2 Japanese MV (Released Nov. 6, 2018)- The original song is in Korean as a b side track and was released on the "Love Yourself: Tear" album. The Japanese version (they translate quite a few of their Korean songs into Japanese for Japanese singles & albums) was then released as a single but was later added to their Japanese Album "Map of the Soul: 7- The Journey" which have several of their most popular Japanese Songs. They have also Original Japanese songs tho like Lights, Film Out, Don't Leave Me, Wishing on a Star and more. I personally prefer these songs to the translated to Japanese from Korean songs. Their original Japanese songs imo mostly have a different feel or vibe then their Korean discography. "Euphoria: The Theme of Love" MV (Released April 5, 2018) is a Jungkook solo song, It's a very lovely song and has a lot of BU Storyline imagery. "Epiphany Comeback Trailer" (Released Aug. 9, 2018)- is a Jin solo song and sets the tone for the next album in the series "Love Yourself: Answer". It's an abridged or shortened version of the song in the trailer. "IDOL MV" (Released Aug. 24 2018)- It's the title track song that imo was a response to the hate they were getting, being called "too westernized" when they started winning American awards. They were like look we can put out a "wild flashy kpop" MV like everyone else does too, again just my opinion. There is a whole lot to unpack with this MV and many explained videos to help people understand the many references in it like "IDOL MV explained by a Korean".

Btw, the Korean version came out first (it's on their Love Yourself: Tear album). While I love watching the mv for the Japanese ver. I still prefer to listen to the Korean ver. I think it flows better.

Fun fact! Jhopes verse in the original is the same verse from his song airplane from his mixtape hope world in 2017. They reused it since this is part 2 but it’s a lot faster!

Please listen to Don’t Leave Me it’s one of the best Japanese songs from BTS. Actually it’s probably its in my top 5 of BTS songs. Please listen to it you will love it. It’s such a catchy song you will definitely have it on your playlist.

So for me, I always always love the Korean versions of songs better. If it was originally made in Korean, then that’s the one I like best. However, songs that are originally in Japanese are total fire. If that makes sense.

I love this song and the Japanese version is my absolute fav! It’s the one I (try) to sing along with. The music is awesome, the singing is awesome, the rapping is awesome, the dancing is awesome. For this one, I don’t spend much time on the lyrics because the music and dance is just so lit! And as another commenter noted, all members shine with their strengths all through it.

This song is a popular BTS song 🤔I originally listened to the Korean version which has lyrics in the video if I remember. Also, there is always subs for any BTS content, you just gotta look for it.Also, the Viv person, I don’t think she was asking you to skip the song, maybe the Japanese version, as the Korean version is probably more popular and what we’re used to.

Actually their Japanese songs are fairly popular, there are little to no reactions done because dang KZfaq or Japanese companies that do their JPN content are sticklers for copyrighting it and not adding captions majority of the time. So, it’s better off being uploaded to your PATREON. Over time I think they’ve gotten better at allowing Japanese captions but the reactions to them still tend to get blocked 🙄

The point is you'll be able to know what the song is all about before you hear it's melody and see the mv.
