We installed Tahoma 31 in my back yard in PA last year for our four large dogs. Held up beautifully to 700 pounds of dogs. Let it grow out to 1.5 inches prior to winter to insulate roots. Soil temp in 19067 5 day average is 53 degrees and I am starting to see green haze. Hopeful it survived with minimal loss. I do use a powered reel mower set at 7/8 inch and my yard is not level.

Between Tahoma 31 and Latitude 36 which is more shade tolerant and how do they rate against other cultivars in terms of shade?

Definitely need pgr, and sand leveling
