Excellent demonstration of body mechanics and the exploitation of opponents. Each move must be practiced 100 times to kind of get it, a thousand times to feel it; and 10,000 to own it. Much work ahead but this is a wonderful teaching and I don't speak French. Thanks for sharing 👊😎👍. Yes taiji love💕

I see some comments talking about complying and the partner not resisting. Tai Ch is grappling, and in ANY, and I mean ANY grappling system in world, from college wrestling, to MMA, to BJJ, Aikido, the more someone resists, the easier it is to do the technique. It's when the opponent is relaxed and complies that you run into trouble.

Its very hard to practice against an opponent who isnt fighting back. Every technique will meet with much resistance in a real encounter. Do you spar when you train? Actually even sparring is not realistic because you must not damage your training partner.
@parlormusic1885

You’re confused about how to train. You have to learn to walk before you can run. This video demonstrates walking.

Parlor Music my point is that the video is not meant to teach as much as to show how skilled the guy is. I cant tell if he is really skilled unless i see how he reacts to real resistense. Of course that is very hard to do. This guy might be incredible, but imdont like to see guys being thrown to the ground like that. It would be more impressive if the opponent tried just a bit to resist to show how effevtive the techniques really are.
@symbolsarenotreality4595
@symbolsarenotreality4595 3 жыл бұрын
@@perrypelican9476 You can train with real resistance what you can't train for is the unpredictability of a real fight where any technique can be used and your opponent isn't telling you what technique they are doing first. Of course you can fight to train this but you do risk injury to yourself or opponent. Sparring always has the risk of injury from light sparring to heavy with the risk increasing the heavier you go. Heavy sparring is basically full force like a tournament. I've ended up with concussion just doing light sparring let alone heavy sparring where a good hit will drop you. Its not rocket science, it's basic physics. And of course a real fight is more dangerous than a tournament because if someone wants to injure or kill you, unless they want to scare you first they are not going to announce that they are going to attack you. There will be no bell and there will be no ref to stop them from attacking you after you are unconscious.

@@perrypelican9476 Watch some practical method videos. People can resist all they want it will only make the technique work more effectively on them. But on someone who just relaxes and just changes direction or moves away then it wont be able to work.
