Number one thing I've learned from this channel is don't be an asshole.

Here's the problem with driving post COVID. In my small world it feels that drivers have gotten even more aggressive and totally disregard the safety of their fellow drivers. I have said it's better to not engage with these unreasonable people but for those of us that pride ourselves in being defensive drivers the climate of aggressive driving is slowly but surely building a cumulative affect of anger and frustration. The question is how do you deal with it? I myself try and drive as little as I can. Too many wannabe tough guys on the road or absent minded drivers. who think their text conversation is more important than driver safety.

I’ll never understand why people who deal with a road rager continue to follow them. Pretend you’re going the same way as them and then last second split off a different way. I think it’ll fuck with them psychologically knowing you’re not engaging? Seriously why continue to follow them?

These videos are showing me I need to make battering ram bumpers. At least if someone rear ends my car, I don't have any damage. Same for brake checkers. I don't think chipped paint counts as real damage, so a $15 can of chassis black would fix that "damage" pretty quick.lol

Just because you have the right of way doesn't mean that that your insurance company or somebody else's insurance company isn't going to put part of the blame on you. If you can slow down or otherwise avoid an accident and you don't, they will find you partially at fault even if the police cite the other person for the accident.

#9 Why do people think that only one person can be at fault for an accident? The law stopped with that nonsense 30 years ago. It assigns percentages now. Sure, he should have maintained his lane- 70 or 80%. But when it comes to whether the cammer could have avoided the accident? 20 or 30%. Maybe 90-10 whatever. You don't get 100% against the other guy because he started it if you respond by "trying to teach him a lesson by not backing off."

They're being told to go to places they have no business going, then they have to make an unprotected left turn across a 4 lane highway? I suspect there's literally no time of day he could make that turn without cutting someone off.

9. Cammer absolutely engaged with the truck. I get it. There's something about not wanting to give up your space to some jerk who thinks they own the road or can do whatever they want, but you shouldn't ever engage with them. As soon as he started coming over into your lane, a good driver would have backed off and let the guy go on about his day. Cammer instead sped up to block the truck. Then the cammer claims the truck pitted himself, but from what I can see the cammer cut hard to the right when the trucks rear bumper was just in the right spot. I can be that kind of jerk that doesn't let aggressive drivers into my lane, but I draw the line at contact and potentially hurting someone. Now the cammer is fighting insurance, which is a nightmare in situations like these. Truck is 80% at fault, cammer is 20% at fault. You have to remember that aggressive drivers don't know who you are, so it cannot be personal. EDIT: Cammer really thought that was attempted murder by the truck, but honestly I feel like the cammer could get charged with reckless driving and assault based on that hard cut to the right that sent the truck out of control. Again, not saying the truck isn't in the wrong. Cammer needs to take a step back and reflect on how their own actions also influenced the outcome of their interaction.

5:34 we have a road like this here in TX where posted speed is 45, but since it looks like a highway (I suppose) the slowest I've seen any go is 65. The first time I drove I tried to maintain at least 50, and I was nearly getting rear-ended and sideswiped by nearly everyone going at least 75mph. Luckily there never seems to be cops there, so I have been bullied into driving at least 55-60 (literally for my own safety). It's ridiculous

#1: that's why you should always expect the unexpected while driving. Don't assume that just because you have the right of way that you won't have to stop

12. The white pickup cuts the lady off when she is attempting to change lanes, not your fault. You then cut her off as well. I don't know if you were flashing your lights, but you were clearly riding her bumper and driving erratically from side to side. I know it sucks when someone is driving under the speed limit but they WERE driving in the slow lane before taking the exit. You being in a rush does not excuse your behavior. They didn't need to stop on the exit ramp either.
