I wouldn't be too worried about being so confused by this character 😅 The Bag of Crafting is possibly the most complicated item in the entire game. Also, the reason you got breakfast so much is that if Bag of Crafting tries to give you an item you have not unlocked it will just give you breakfast instead

There are two ways I've found to play Tainted Cain. Either lookup the recipe for strong items on one of the many spreadsheets now available for the bag of crafting. Or just chuck whatever consumables in the bag I come across and rolling with it. And it's been so fun lol. Had a breaking run with a bomb begger and the safety scissors yesterday and that was really cool. (Took like three hours though, but I was able to mark off ???, Lamb, Mega Satan, Delirium, Mother, and Beast in "one" run. Thank you R Key. 😂)

deep pocket was reworked, it no longer give the ability to hold 2 trinket or card/pill/other , but you can have 999 coins and if nothing should drop from a room, pennies drop instead also use tab to choose the pickup you delete when you already have 8 in the bag (because yes it delete them) . I think it s common sense to delete coins for example most of the time ^^

As a tip, I would always have a few keys/bombs to make sure you can access item rooms, tinted rocks, etc, so you can get even more consumables for the bag

He had at least 1 key f the of most the run mom's bracelet for rocks, but yea secret rooms seem like something he skipped.

Minor spoilers for which post it note marks unlock things for the B side characters below, don't click read more if you don't wanna know. B side characters have 7 unlocks, the first is doing all of satan, isaac, the lamb, ???. The second is for doing boss rush and hush. Then mega satan, delirium, greedier, mother, and dogma all have an unlock for doing just that mark. There is no unlock tied to regular greed mode, the heart, or finishing all marks in hard, but you'll get the mark for the heart and regular greed mode as you fill in the other marks, in the end you have to complete the entire post it to unlock everything that character unlocks.

Uff starting with somerhing pretty hard, playing the tainted Cain play Oh yeah, pretty awesome that you defeat Dogma and The Beast at your first try, I have seen some people that takes more than just once

trying not to be rude but picking up the golden bomb on dark room was a breaking run, since you had glitter bombs, i know i won't be the only one to tell you

How to win any run as tainted cain, in no particular order, you need to craft Libre, monstros lungs, tractor-beam, almond milk, lost contacts and analog stick (analog stick is optional but highly recommended). Then you can start crafting random items from there, if you don't know any crafting recipes goto The Binding of Isaac cheat sheet weeb site.
