"The machine is never going to replace the driver" he said. I don't know what he meant exactly but he's right: Machine will never replace, but only because the rules won't allow it, not because machines won't be able to drive better. Same as chess. Nobody wants to watch an AI-AI chess game, but AI can undoubtedly beat any human.

What are these questions? A professional journalist dont ask silly questions like these. A 12 year old child who is into F1 could have asked more constructive question when you meet TOTO in person. Imagine spending 100k in college and getting a journalism degree and asking why some of the sponsors are bigger than the other and where do the sponsors go instead of asking about the car or the race or the sports itself.

I think it’s about the target audience. CNBC is not F1TV and the questions are catered accordingly. I found this interesting in a way and I have followed f1 going back to Villeneuve and Williams.
