Take a tour of our grain facility! Not only do we farm, but New Age also has a grain facility where we buy and sell other farmers corn and new this year - soybeans. We use strictly Sukup for all of our grain bin and facility needs and are working on expanding to be able to have more room for grain.

Does a computer link the inbound and outbound scales? What regulations does the state have on keeping those two scales equal?

Thanks for the tour… I really love the tunnels underneath the grain bins! That appears to be a significant upgrade to the traditional setup. I’m a numbers guy and the only information I didn’t hear you mention is the capacity of each grain bin for corn at that facility. You told us that the new soybean bin is 250k bushels so thanks for that info. Gonna hit the “subscribe” button now

You’re welcome! Our rough guess right now is we have storage for around 700,000 bushels

Holy smokes this my first Vidjeo on ur channel and man wata grain facility ive not seen one like it bfr. Seems perfect to drain these big grain tanks out from the middle underneath,just Curious how long u have owned it and wen did u build the place, Ur programs for controlling product seem so user freindly compared to others ive seen anyway me not a farmer just a dude on youtube thats really got a so much btr idea and picture of our farmers in the great U.S.A. man wata a cool facility would love to see the costruction of the project fersure and congrates on ur sucess and hard work!! its alwayys good fer the phillies to go hangout with the other phillies away from home anyway this is by far the longest coment ive written best to end heree prior to Carpel tunnel setting in lol--So ur conveyeors r not the screw type but belt like conveyers? At 15:05 the tower is sceaming fo u to put a zipline on how cool would that b!!!!! my goodness listening to u talk about this facility just begs the question How Many Acres do u farm? or do u own a co-op for a bunch of farmers ?

Those sweeps drive forward until they're drawing too much amperage and they actually back themselves out of the pile until they move some grain. At least thats how they work in our new bins

Does all your corn go for ethanol or does some go for animal feed too?

It actually goes into quite a few products - the plant we haul to brought us a goodie bag with some products it might be in! There were Cheerios, taco shells and others to name a few
