Sir don't mind but aap hi sochiye ki agr 50k loss book krta hun or phir ussi share purchase krta hun. To jo tax 15k safe krne ka baat kr rhe h wo 50k loss se km hi h na Means overall 35k ka loss hi h. So penny share ko rahne do holding me wo na tax bachayega na hi portfolio badhayega bs wo ek apahij beta h wo bhagwan bharoshe h kabhi to kaam ayega

@@gamingwithclashbarbarian2827 there's a difference between booking a loss and incurring a loss. In this case you're not actually incurring a loss of 50,000. But as per CBDT you've made a loss of 50,000 and therefore saved 15000/5000.

At last you didn't interpreted correctly....... LTCG can be set off by both LTCL as well as STCL and Short term capital gain can only be set off by short term capital loss.

No. STCL can be set off against STCG and LTCG while LTCL can be set off only against LTCG.

1. We will book loss 2. Then we will again purchase same stock at lower price 3. So whenever we will sell it at price more than our earlier purchase price then profit amount will be more n hence tax amount also 4 ) to conclude tax can just be postponed can’t be set off

In a earlier vid with an interview with Rachana Ranade, you guys showed us a table where it showed that LTC Gain can be offset by both STC Loss and LTC Loss, whereas STC Gain can only by offset by STC Loss. Could you please give a clarification on this.

Only Long Term Capital Loss can be set off by Long term Capital Gains. Short Term Capital Loss can be set off by both Long term capital gain and short term capital gain.

LTCG, STCG vala point ulta bolgae sir. LTCG can be offset by STCL and LTCL whereas STCG can only be set off against STCL.

Some do and some not do that. It is not a fault of Zomato but is a fault of the restaurant. Can this be reduced the answer is yes just cut the fees but either it will come at a cost of our pocket or Zomato pocket. So just see the downside and if we see in resturant many saves more from not dining in that make them easy to pay but some think they are not getting the benifit so they just increase the price.

So basically you pay less tax but in addition your net profit is also lower. After you buy back those loss making share you’ll again pay gst,stt charges, sebi and exchange charges, DP charges. In the end this is just common sense that your profit will be lower so you’ll pay less taxes. And people are willing to have lower realised profit just to reduce tax liability. This is nonsense. We sell loss making stocks only if we see no potential upmove.

Bhai jitne share beche hai usi same price pe hi wapas khareed loge to loss kha hua aapke share to utne hi rhe na... For Example :- aapke paas xyz company ke 100 share hai jinko aapne 1000 rs ki price pr 2 saal pehle khareeda tha ..maan lo abi unka price 500 rs ho gya to aap wo 100 share bech do ..aapka 50000 ka loss book ho gya....ab aap wapas se 100 share usi time khareed lo keuki bhav to 500 hi hai abi to wo share aapko 50000 ke hi pdenge ...end of the day aapke paas 100 ke 100 hi share rhe aur 50000 ka on paper loss bhi book ho gya.

One important thing. The shares which you sell for booking the loss should be repurchased on the next trading day and not on same day. This is because if bought on same day it will count as Intraday Trade.. Hope it helps!

There are a few caveats to this 1. Audit is required to claim the highlighted benefit 2. There is no need to think about LT and short term adjustments, system identifes automatically.. just need to fill in the right column
