Great tips! I was thinking how to quickly remember this when I get dressed the morning and I came up with this acronym. SALT. Statement piece, Acessories, Layers, Texture. A pop of color to me can be a statement as well. It's my new way of remembering to always add a little spice and flavour to my outfit! Thx Erin!

As an inflation impacted Single momma with kids heading to college I can’t stress enough that these tips even work when you’re on a “thrifting” budget. I just grabbed some great leather shoes with gold chain detail, chunky gold tone earrings, scarves and oversized blazers and sweaters with my teen last night and was so happy to see this video today realizing these “tools” work for all budgets! Thank you so much for sharing these ideas- I feel guilty still wanting beautiful things even though I do not get to dress up every day and go to the office any longer. My favorite style tweak is to use an item in another way. I stumbled on this when I lost the belt to my black trench coat. I had a black velvet scarf with a little black beading on the end and it looked fabulous as a belt. So fabulous that I decided to wear just the trench with belt as my top for going out.

I love stacking necklaces, but hate it when they mate. I found a clasp on Amazon where I can attach up to 3 necklaces to a single closure. It keep the chains from knotting up and makes it easy on - easy off, at the end of the day.

Thanks so much for watching, Farah! As a fellow petite gal, it often works great to shop for "midi length" dresses, that actually work as full length maxis on us! Add some height with your shoes, and opt for dresses that aren't too full, as you don't want to overwhelm your frame. Always make sure to define your waist too! xo
