Takeovers allows people to show off their skills while also showing off their car and what it can do. Takeovers are focused on having fun and living in the moment while car meets such as Cars and Coffee is just people silently saying "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!!!"

And as a 392 Chargee driver and live near and area where the Hellcats and 392s are known for takeovers Ive had people actually come up to me and say nice car then immeadately say, "I bet you're one of those take over guys huh?" This shit pisses me the fuck off to no end. I actually like my car and try my best to keep it looking nice. I just like going fast sometimes when its safe to do so.

Lmaoo I was there the night that 350z crashed. The car had a for sale tag in the window and was actually pretty clean! He busted his radiator in the crash. He drifted it out on the main street and a cop saw so he came back to the area with all the people and the people jumped in front of the cop car so that he could get away.

Im embarrassed to admit that when I first saw a video of a sideshow, it looked cool. They blocked an area off, and took turns doing donuts. It quickly turned into multiple cars trying to swing around at once, people bringing guns, people getting hurt, stolen cars and a lot of crashing. It's just plain stupid now

If I see someone do a pull on the street or even start a light slide, that's cool and all. Ive popped wheelies countless times when I was ALONE. I'm honestly referring to the takeover drivers. I've seen it first hand, they should not be driving. I ride motorcycles and drive my car sometimes and I'm all about safety, don't get me wrong having fun is cool, knowing WHERE and WHEN to have fun is what I'm tryna preach. Eh, I live in California, home of the "oh, here just take a license" state. By the way, it's the immature drivers who take the nod of disapproval too seriously. I've been tailgated by some immature driver last week because I've nodded my head because he literally couldn't drive. All I'm saying, especially NOWADAYS, is there is a time and a place. sideshows used to be lit. only the dopest cars, good drivers, if you hit someone, your car got destroyed and it wasnt a bunch of edgars in stolen chargers. everyone always takes everything from the bay and then ruins it. every single one of the sideshow attendees back in the early 2000's were car people. we didnt have anywhere to drive, no tracks, no skid pads it was just the streets. LA has dozen race tracks and plenty of places to do that but they like to do it in busy intersections next to their public housing so when their car breaks they dont have to walk far.
