Great presentation as always! I've always felt Lynch has a deep love for women, they really drive his work, and his female characters are always so vivid and complex, never weak or exploitative to me.

If the sherriffs office were competent and saved Laura then Twin Peaks would have been a totally different show. Not sure if I'd want it any other way. Maybe in Season 3 if they went back in time and did it.
